In August and September 2025, our family enlisted the help of Seniors Helping Seniors to assist my grandmother with basic needs around the house, while we worked to transition her into assisted living. As we all reside in different states, being able to rely on SHS's support was such a gift. That support included tasks such as light housekeeping and an evening meal prep, and these services enabled my grandmother to make the most of her remaining days in her home of 40 years. Beyond the tactical support, however, lies the emotional and psychological benefit. The company SHS afforded my grandmother helped prevent against isolation or loneliness, and that is simply irreplaceable. As proprietor, Josh could not be more kind and committed to his team's goals. His empathy and compassion are a model we should each seek to emulate, and those admirable qualities clearly set the tone for how SHS agents approach their work in the homes of clients. In establishing our service, Josh was communicative, patient and very responsive. Whenever questions arose over our couple months of service, Josh was always quick to answer, just as he was quick to raise questions proactively as they came up. As aforementioned, during our time making use of SHS services, we were simultaneously vetting assisted living options in the Sioux City area for my grandmother. Josh, being familiar with the area and well networked, helped by answering questions and offering observations based on his knowledge of various communities we might consider. I'm delighted to say we were able to set my grandmother up in an apartment where we trust she will receive the provisions she needs to ensure her days are as full and enjoyable as possible! Without question, I sincerely and fully recommend SHS. I find they reliable and trustworthy, and to put the care of their clients above all else.

Josh and his team did an amazing job with our family. We made the right choice. We needed quick support and Josh called me right away wanting to know how they could support us. He personally met our our family to understand our needs in more detail then matched us with 2 people who did an amazing job. He truly cares and is a locally owned company with a great staff who love helping others. I would highly recommend them!

After my mother had a knee surgery, it turned out my father wasn't capable at the time to be able to help her during her recovery period to the extent that she needed. Thankfully, Seniors Helping Seniors not only was available for an intake screening the day we needed help, they were able to get someone started the following day. My mom's recovery went great and it took a ton of stress off my father. This wouldn't have happened without the thoughtful help of Seniors Helping Seniors. They really helped my family when they were in a tight spot.

I was looking for an aide to stay with my 93 year old mother in the late afternoon and early evening. I contacted several companies in her area and was most impressed with Josh at Seniors Helping Seniors. Josh visited my Mom and her friend to gather information and had an aide start within 2 weeks of my initial phone call. The aides that he assigned are nice local people and my mother feels comfortable with them. Josh is always quick to address any concerns that we may have. The aides have allowed my mother to stay longer in her own home where she feels safe and secure.

They made the process of getting assistance very easy and helpful. The caregivers are prompt, friendly and helpful in whatever I need. Low cost also. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Josh does a great job explaining all the services that Seniors Helping Seniors provides. He has a passion for helping seniors and it is very evident. Highly recommend.
