Honda Advances Global Goal of Zero Traffic Collision Fatalities
Honda is expanding its focus beyond ADAS to augment driver awareness, modify driver behavior and improve the traffic safety ecosystem.
Honda announced it is building on its “Safety For Everyone” approach by expanding its focus beyond advanced safety and driver assistive technologies to include efforts to augment driver awareness, modify driver behavior and improve the traffic safety ecosystem by working with government, industry and community partners. The company’s goal is to achieve zero traffic collision fatalities involving its automobiles and motorcycles by 2050, including older models still on the road.
