I’m so thankful to have come in contact with Jamie and her staff. I live out of state and was very pleased to be able to provide my parents with trusted and reliable sources. I appreciate the time Jamie took to go and meet with my patents while I was away from home to get the ball rolling with care. I have utilized Seaside Senior Care from both sides of the fence. Jamie's team is very caring and knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to help with caring for my mother. The owner of the company, Jamie Derrickson even came to my house on a Saturday morning (very early) to help out so I could participate in the Cooper River Bridge Run. After my mother passed, I found myself with not much to do so I joined Jamie's team. Jamie truly cares about her staff and her clients. Her caring attitude transfers to her staff and they are able to provide top notch care. It's a joy to work for someone who appreciates their team. Thank you Jamie for all you do.

The Seaside Senior Care team cared for my mother over the last two years of her life. We started with just moderate support but as my mother’s health deteriorated they quickly responded with increased hours and care. We had a team of 5 caregivers that alternated days and basically became part of my mother’s family. The team didn’t just give physical support but also talked with my mother, watched shows with her and took her to therapy. They ran errands, prepared meals and did light cleaning. They even walked her dog on occasion! The entire team kept me informed on her status and were quick to let me know of any changes or concerns. Because of this level of care, my mother was able to stay in her home until the last 8 months of her life. Even when we moved her to an Assisted Living facility and hospice, they still came each day and provided companionship. They were there not only for my mother every step of the way but also for me, I could not have handled this myself. Their support meant so much to me!

When my dad’s Parkinson’s progressed significantly towards the end of his life, we realized he needed more support, our family was blessed to find Jamie and her team at Seaside Senior Care. From the very beginning, their team brought not only professionalism but most importantly compassion and dignity to my dad. They created a care plan immediately and assigned a lead caretaker, Jane, who was a GODSEND, so much so we called her "GI Jane"! I honestly do not know what we would have ever done without her. All of the caregivers quickly became like family and were so patient with him and attentive to every detail of his care. They respected his independence and truly listened to him. In his final months, they provided comfort not just to him but to all of us. What stood out most was their ability to balance skilled medical support with human connection. We never once worried about his safety because we knew he was in the best hands. I cannot recommend Seaside Senior Care highly enough. Their dedication and compassion made all the difference in our dad’s journey with Parkinson’s, and for that, our family will always be deeply grateful.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Jamie Derrickson about three years ago. My wife has MS and had other serious health issues. Her staff was courteous punctual and caring and in a pinch Jamie would always find me a caregiver nurse. I can highly recommend Seaside Senior Care.
