SDM Automotive & Parts is a Christchurch-based performance workshop specialising in Nissan and Subaru vehicles. We provide dyno tuning for RWD Nissan platforms using Link ECU and UpRev software, including Skyline and 350Z builds. We are also well known for Subaru EJ engine work such as cambelt and water pump replacements, cam cover reseals, and EJ mechanical repairs. Subaru ECU remapping is available by assessment. Our focus is reliable, correctly done work rather than chasing numbers.

Right before my long trip, I noticed a high-pitched squeaking noise coming from one of my car’s wheels. I called multiple mechanics trying to find someone who could take a look on the same day — but had no luck. So I reached out for help on Facebook, and that’s when Shane kindly responded. He thoroughly checked the issue and fixed it for me with great care! They are without a doubt one of the most trustworthy mechanics I’ve ever met. Super friendly, kind, and honest — they really took the time to help me out. As long as I’m in Christchurch, I’ve decided I’ll be coming back to this workshop. Highly recommended! Thank you so much again !!!

The team at SDM have kept my old Nissan on the road safely. Back brakes and suspension both sorted. Reliable guys. Wouldn't trust just anyone with my car but I do trust them. And they didn't rip me off like other mechanics have in the past. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable and honest job done .
