Scuba School And Family Dive Center Belize

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Amazing Dive Experience in Belize! I had the absolute best experience with Belize Scuba School and Family Dive Center. I completed my PADI Open Water certification with MJ as my instructor, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. MJ was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely safe and confident every step of the way. You can tell he truly loves what he does — his calm teaching style and positive energy completely elevated the experience. We had one dive master for 4 of us (2 of us completing the open water cert, the other two completing the advanced open water cert) After finishing my certification, I got to dive at Hol Chan and snorkel at Shark Ray Alley, and WOW — truly unforgettable. The team made everything seamless from start to finish. The equipment was great, the boat crew was friendly and helpful, and the marine life was breathtaking (reef sharks, nurse sharks, manta rays, spotted eagles rays, turtles, eels, barracudas, all kinds of fish) — 100% would choose them again!

I got my Advanced Open Water certification here and my experience was absolutely amazing. They were so professional and took our safety very seriously while also keeping it light and so so so much fun. During my training I saw the most amazing animals, made friends with other students and my instructors, and gained so much knowledge on safe diving. They have increased my confidence tenfold. My DMs were MJ and Omaro and I cannot recommend both of them enough. If you want fun, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable instructors, go to them! The women at the front desk were very reliable, answering all my emails quickly and being very clear and helpful with all my questions. On top of it, I left something behind and they were kind enough to take the time to mail it to me!! 1000/10 experience!

I really can't say enough good things about the Scuba School and Family Dive Center Belize! Everyone was very helpful and the atmosphere was always positive. I had an amazing time on every dive with Josh and MJ. All of the gear was in good shape and the boat was clean. The instructors gave everyone clear directions on all the dive details before each dive and made sure everyone was on the same page before we got in the water. I felt very comfortable diving with them and when I return to Belize I will choose them again!

We were diving Belize 10/13 thru 10/16 using Scuba Schools & Family Dive Center. Had a great trip and was treated extremely well. From Rose and Seleny in the office, to Esrom, Sam, and Amado taking us out on the dives, our experience was top notch! Special shout out to Esrom for going above and beyond in making it a great trip!

We dived with scuba school and it was great! The dive masters are great guys and you can have a good laugh with them. They made us feel right at home. We did 4 local reef dives wich were all great with a lot of sharks wich we love! They offer the blue hole trip but do not take you there. This is done by an other company. We did not now this on the forehand but all was arranged very good. So no worries there.

This was a 10/10 experience. It's extremely intimidating coming from the United States and throwing my scuba certification into the hands of a place I knew almost nothing about. However, after contacting Scuba School and Family Dive Center, they were extremely attentive, patient, and kind - answering any and all questions, and making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. They are very well organized, and this was such a breeze. This experience was far more seamless and easier to complete the cert than the dive shop I was working with in the US. Our instructor, Esrom Aldana, was absolutely phenomenal. He is walking sunshine, with a 12/10 personality. He is kind, patient, and just an overall joy to be around. He was very laid back, and easy going - but a master at his craft. His ability to make me feel comfortable in the ocean (at times with rough waters), while still effectively communicating the skills and directions I needed to follow was top notch. He really made sure myself, and my buddy Jeremy, felt comfortable, and ready to move on to the next skill in our certification. He would do each skill multiple times, really drilling them into our head, being stern, but also unbelievably encouraging. Scuba School and Family Dive Center are SO fortunate and lucky to have Esrom. Highly highly recommend this company, but even more so, Esrom to complete your PADI Open Water diving course under. He is the best, and I hope our paths cross again, both on land and at sea.

MJ and Sam were the best dive masters. All the staff were helpful from the planning over the WhatsApp, on the day, through the dives and afterwards. They truly looked after you. My wife did her open water, and I did my advanced. They took all the stress out of it, and made you feel very comfortable through the whole thing. Great dive site knowledge too

I had an absolutely amazing time learning to scuba dive with this location. I made a solo trip to Belize and booked the adventure package and found it to be of excellent value. My instructor, MJ, was absolutely amazing. They prioritize safety and it was an exceptionally fun, relaxing environment. The scenery was amazing as well. I’m very glad I went, and highly recommend them.. whether you’re doing your initial certification or diving for fun… solo or with a group!

This was my second time diving with Scuba School and Family Dive Center Belize, and I can honestly say, I wouldn’t dive with anyone else here. From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. The front desk is warm and welcoming, and the whole experience is organized, professional, and so much fun. A huge thank you to MJ and Esrom, who were the best dive masters, wonderful, knowledgeable, and super fun to dive with. This is my second time diving with MJ and hes one of the main reasons I returned. And let’s not forget Captain Nairo who was also amazing..I always felt completely safe and cared for, even before we hit the water. Every time I dive with this crew, I have a wonderful time, see incredible marine life (I personally LOVE the sharks!), and come back with the biggest smile on my face. Their passion for diving and for sharing the beauty of Belize really shines through. Thank you again for another unforgettable experience. I’ll absolutely be back this dive team is simply the best!

Not a great experience and I would dive with another company. The equipment is old and pretty warn out, most of the hoses were leaking air, the fittings were corroded and overall just a bit sloppy. There is also no bathroom at the shop. They dive literally 5 minutes away where every other dive shop in town goes so I would recommend going to one of the shops that have a better setup. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the service. It was also more expensive than the other shops so I don’t see any reason to use them.
