It was time to replace my 20 year old boiler, at the same time I was also looking for a solar / battery / grid powered hot water system to run my domestic water for washing and showering, a call from Chris at SES not only saved me money by purchaseing a Sunamp battery system and a smaller 15kw boiler, Chris also arranged for a plumber and a local electrician, in my eyes the fitment and pipework were a work of art, being a retired engineer I appreciated the time that was taken by Davie and his apprentice to install the units also working a 12 hour shift to ensure we had hot water and gas that day, the electrician was also very professional, now the systems are up and running I am looking forward to reduced utility bills. I would most definitely recommend Scottish Energy Saving and more than happy to respond to any questions, well done Chris and his team.

I live in a village with an erratic mains power supply and I usually get 4-5 power cuts a year, with a recent one lasting 24hrs. I got in touch with Chris at SES who was helpful, energetic and enthusiastic and gave me a quote for a 13.5kW GivEnergy battery system that would link to my existing solar panels. He was able to answer the questions I had and he supplied me with example pictures of previous installations he'd done. I was impressed with both his technical knowledge and people skills, and I was happy with the quote, so we shook on the deal and agreed a starting date. Nathan turned up nice and early on the agreed date and after a quick tour of the place and a chat about options for cable runs, etc he got cracking, and virtually never stopped the rest of the day. He kept me updated with progress and double checked what I wanted whenever queries arose. By 3pm he was done with the tools and into setting the system up via the app. He left the house very clean and tidy, and had all his rubbish collected in a cardboard box...if only all contractors were like that! As for the battery, it's doing exactly what it said on the tin. It charges up within 2-3 hours on my cheap rate, overnight tariff and then powers the house all day. I've not had to use any mains electricity at the day-time rate, which is a big saving. I'm in a 3-bedroom cottage with an air source heat pump. It has coped with that, the electric cooker, a dehumidifier, a few hours of tumble drying and a short, part-charge of my electric car, with capacity to spare. So, long story short.. I'd definitely recommend a GivEnergy battery system from SES.

We have had a Solar Assisted Heat Pump and Battery Storage installed by Scottish Energy Saving. It has been a very straightforward process. Chris explained the systems and our options very clearly; he is pleasant, courteous, and very easy to work with. The electricians, on both occasions, were excellent - their work is of the highest standard, and they were extremely careful and courteous whilst working in our house. We are delighted with the results!

In 2020 I moved into a house with no gas supply. The house had electric storage heaters and an immersion heater. Despite being on an economy 7 electric supply the bills were horrendous with “heat” only being available from 2330 to 0730 hrs which is not when it is required. SES installed a SAHP system for the hot water and infra red heating panels controlled with a Lightwave system. The hot water bills came tumbling down and I now heat the house when I want to, rather than to suit Scottish Power. The heat pump gave me access to Octopus Cosy which gave further savings. Further savings were gained by installing solar panels and a battery storage system which meant I did not pay for electricity for six months spring to autumn. Chris at SES was very knowledgeable and helpful.

SES have done 2 jobs for me now, one a solar and battery and the other battery only. Both times thev completed the work efficiently and well. I don't hesitate to recommend them

It's a good moment to shout out Chris Taylor and Scottish Energy Saving who installed the 12 solar panels and batteries which power the kitchen and workshop at our Grow West Fife kitchen and workshop. Today our batteries are full, we're generating more than we're using and exporting power to the Grid. We weren't the easiest customer but our system is working brilliantly and we're very grateful to Chris and colleagues for their continuing support. 🙌🙌🙌

Chris and his team at Scottish Energy Saving provided me with great technical expertise and we agreed on a SAHP as the solution for my particular issue in converting a large property with a heating system and no centralised hot water. Their friendly service and can-do attitude meant that the attic install (not the easiest of manouvres) went relatively smoothly. A subsequent issue was satisfactorily resolved with Chris's intervention. He knows his stuff! Several years on and the SAHP has never not provided us with ample piping hot water and it uses minimum power resources. What not to like?

Chris from SES designed a solar and battery system for our property tailored to our needs. A professional pack was sent to us before agreeing to the installation. The installation tool 2 days and was carried out professionally, with no mess left behind. We have been really pleased at the results of the system and find the phone app easy to use and understand. I’d recommend SES to anyone looking for the design and installation of their solar/battery system.

Chris and his team installed our SAHP and several infrared heating panels. Very happy with the end result and they've been a pleasure to work with.

Having decided that we would benefit from solar panels as part of our drive for energy efficiency, we got in touch with three possible suppliers but decided on Scottish Energy Saving as they were very competitive and, as a bonus also local. Chris eloquently explained the installation parameters using graphs etc. and this was carried out efficiently with little disturbance to our daily routine. The other benefit is that SES also installed a solar assisted water system at the same time which gives us virtually free hot water, particularly when the sun shines, ,employing a battery storage system. Chris has been available ongoing for all our queries and updates.
