At our Penarth Hearing Centre, we provide hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, and earwax removal procedures. Earwax removal is performed by fully qualified Hearing Aid Audiologists, who are HCPC registered. With direct links to leading ENT consultants in South Wales and thousands of procedures successfully carried out, patients can be confident they are in safe, professional hands.
We specialise in microsuction earwax removal, the safest and most effective method of ear cleaning, carried out under surgical grade microscopes in our modern consulting rooms. Where necessary, we can also provide ear irrigation (Syringing).
Our clinic is within easy reach of Cardiff, Cardiff Bay, Barry, Dinas Powys, Sully and the wider Vale of Glamorgan.

For me admitting I had hearing problems was without a doubt difficult. The day came that I decided I had to do something about it. I went to a High Street company and had the test. I was shocked to say the least at the severity. I was trying to digest what I was being told (difficult because my hearing loss affects me hearing conversation) they then started to put hearing aids on me and I couldn’t take it. I was just a potential sale to them. I left without doing anything. I was then recommended to Scott Wroe hearing clinic. What a difference! I was a person. They listened to what I had to say. They gave me confidence to try hearing aids, but most importantly they took away my embarrassment of admitting I had a problem. The test was easy and thorough. Jon took the time to explain to me what was wrong. I decided to trial a pair of hearing aids. Wow!! They were amazing. I saw Jon every week for a few weeks until I was eventually given my own hearing aids. The service, professionalism and dare I say Kindness is second to none. Thank you Jon for making my life easier. Jon is based at The Penarth Branch Cardiff.

Just wanted to write to a huge thank you for seeing me without an appointment this Friday when I was feeling really anxious about sudden issues with my hearing following a flight. You were so lovely and reassuring and assisted in getting me an earlier appointment with a consultant. I would highly recommend this clinic. Thanks Natalie
