I am traveling again to the Sechelt Court to support my client.
As an essential service, lawyers continue to travel, sacrificing their personal family time and risk their health to serve their clients and support our Justice system.
In Canada, the role of our judges is to be neutral arbitrators of the disputes brought before them, making decisions based only on the evidence presented. Our courts do not investigate - the burden is on the litigants to present the evidence they need to prove the facts relevant to their side of the case.
