Forgery is clearly a legal wrong. In addition to any family law remedies, you can take action to obtain a remedy by applying to the court for applicable court orders. Organize all information and documents of any kind in a three-ring binder then retain an experienced lawyer to help you apply to the Supreme Court of British Columbia for a remedy.
If you do not have grounds to commence a divorce or family law proceeding then you could make a civil complaint to the Supreme Court. Usually, a court complaint about a civil legal wrong is made by a Notice of Civil Claim but sometimes a Petition can be used such as when the wrong involves Estate law. Some wrongs can be a breach of both civil law and criminal law, which are separate processes so starting one complaint process does not stop you also making the other kind of complaint.
