HOW DO I SOLVE A DISPUTE?
There are only two methods to solve any dispute, both business and personal. You either make a deal or ask the judge to decide the dispute. To encourage settlement and force full disclosure you often have to commence a lawsuit to use the court rules to force the disclosure you might need to prove the facts.

The lessons I have learned in over 30 years of legal practice are that the quickest method to resolve a dispute is to first clarify and confirm the facts by finding and organizing all the evidence to prove the facts you want to be believed. Since both sides have their emotional perspective of the dispute it is important to first prove the facts of the dispute to support your winning argument.

As I tell my clients, build a three-ring binder to hold all documents of any kind related to any of the facts you want to be believed whether emails or texts or bank statements ETC, and to organize all your notes about the chronology of events.

NOTE - never write on the documents so you have clean copies for court if you need a judge to decide the dispute - the court does not want your underlines and comments in the margin just the facts. Write triple-spaced on the 3-hole lined paper we used in school because it is cheap paper and you can easily match and organize your memories and your documents so you have an easily understood chronology,
It is best to have legal advice before you file any court Claim because the filed Claim sets the limits. We Can Help
