WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE NO FRIENDS OR FAMILY SUITABLE TO BE MY POA or Executor?
Many people today, especially as we age, have no family young enough or close enough or reliable enough to act as our POA or Executor. If no suitable human is available then you can name a trust company.
The person you name just has to be honest & reliable enough to promptly secure you & your assets and pay your monthly expenses ETC especially a POA acting in an emergency. Your appointee does not have to be good with numbers or paper, though that helps, but they do need to be diligent so that tasks are completed properly.
Tasks can be delegated if not convenient or need someone good with numbers or legal documents but who you appoint is responsible to ensure tasks are done properly.
