From playing professional football to hitting the waves with Luis and Pat, what a ride! This was one of my first times ever trying a sport like this, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Pat is an incredible instructor who is patient, motivating, and full of great energy that makes the entire experience even better. Luis and the team create such a positive and welcoming atmosphere that you instantly feel like part of the crew. The first time I let go of that rope, I felt pure freedom. It was a mix of adrenaline, joy, and accomplishment that is honestly hard to describe. It is not an easy sport, but that is exactly what makes it so rewarding. Every single time I am out there, I feel alive in a way that nothing else can match. It is worth every penny, and I try to go as often as I can whenever I have the money. The vibes, the music, the environment, and especially the people make this something truly special. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. This has become my new favorite thing to do, my favorite sport, and I wish I could go every single day.

It’s our first day and first time in Malta, and my husband wanted to do wakeboarding for his birthday. Our first day was made unforgettable thanks to the incredible team at Santa Maria Water Sports! Luis (owner and boat captain), Patrice (instructor), and Sam (photographer/videographer) welcomed us with infectious enthusiasm, setting the tone for an absolutely thrilling experience. They were awesome from start to finish. We (and I mean mostly my husband) tried wakeboarding and wakesurfing, and the team made every moment epic. Luis is a master behind the boat, ensuring smooth rides and perfect conditions for every run. Patrice is a great instructor — patient, encouraging, and full of expert tips. And Sam captured every moment with stunning shots and videos. My husband was able to ride the waves with the glorious sunset behind him. It was absolutely incredible. Their professionalism, warmth, and passion for what they do created an experience we’ll never forget. They are genuinely awesome people who love what they do, and it shows. We felt safe the entire time. Santa Maria Water Sports is a must-visit for anyone in Malta looking for adventure, fun, and top-notch service. We can’t wait to do this again with them in the future!
