Santa Cruz Pool Plastering

I highly recommend Santa Cruz Pool Plastering. Out of four companies I got quotes from, I felt that Joe gave us the most honest evaluation of what he could do to recondition our ailing 1973 pool. I am sorry I didn't take pictures of the old plaster before they started but envision blue painted swiss cheese with concrete showing through in places. The previous owner had the pool hastily patched and painted prior to selling it and four months after we moved in the pool surface disintegrated. It was depressing to look at and impossible to keep clean or balance the chemicals. (Never buy a house with a painted pool unless you are ready to replaster it! Now I know.) Joe's estimate to chip out the old painted plaster, replace the perimeter tiles, remove the broken diving board and repair our cracked pool deck and skimmer seemed very reasonable and was less than half the cost of a competitor. Most importantly we wanted the work done well, be told what was happening during the process and have it not take forever. Joe and his crew were on time, reliable and easy to communicate with. They cleaned up each day and were FAST! Our pool was turned around from a gross disaster to the best part of our house in 4 weeks. We were swimming in it as soon as the chemicals were balanced. Don't hesitate to call these guys, they have a lot of experience and are honest. It is a local, family owned and run company and they take responsibility for and pride in what they do. I would call them again without hesitation. Great work, guys!!!
