I’ve had two platelet rich plasma injections that offered moderate relief. Administratively, your clinic dropped the ball on two occasions. The first situation occurred following my initial consultation. Dr. Evangelista advised me to wait in the exam room and his nurse would schedule my next appointment. I sat in the exam room for about a half-hour. I finally went to the nurse, who knew nothing about scheduling my appointment as Dr. Evangelista never communicated with her. After my second injection in March of 2025, I never received any follow up at all. I called your office 7 months later and spoke with nurse Eunice, who essentially gas-lit me. She stated that perhaps any follow up emails went into my junk file. Your office never sent me any follow up emails nor did anyone call to check on my progress. I know this because shortly after my conversation with Eunice, Dr. Evangelista called and left a voicemail saying your office dropped the ball. I cannot in good faith recommend your clinic to anyone.

Highly, highly recommend Dr. Rogers! I had severe pain in one of my shoulders for many months and kept being referred to Orthopedic surgeons for shoulder replacement surgery. Not wanting surgery, I spent hours online looking for alternatives. Dr. Rogers and San Diego Orthobiologics kept coming up as THE eminent doctor in the field of regenerative medicine, which is something the mainstream medical community never offers or even mentions as an option to invasive surgery. All the 5-star reviews for Dr. Rogers are well deserved. I first received PRP injections in both shoulders, and despite having almost zero cartilage left and a torn rotator cuff in one shoulder, I am no longer in pain and have recovered almost full range of motion, completely avoiding a very invasive, painful surgery with a very lengthy recovery time and a high probability of complications or repeat surgery needed. I have now gone back to Dr. Rogers for PRP injections in my knees. I have moderate osteoarthritis in both knees and am looking forward to halting the progression of further OA damage, as well as regrowing cartilage and stopping the inflammation that causes pain and stiffness. Dr. Rogers is the real deal, his professionalism and skills are unmatched and we are very lucky to have him practicing in our community.

I've been a patient of Dr. Evangelista's for many years. I've had extensive pain in my ribs, lower back, and hips. There were times that I felt as if I'd never be active again. With Dr. Evangelista's help (I've had PRP, Prolotherapy, Nerve Blocks and Physical Therapy for various body parts) at age 62 I feel pain free for the first time in at least 15 years. During one bad episode of rib pain, Dr. E got me healthy enough to throw out the first pitch at a Dodger Game. It was a ball. outside and low! Not only is Dr. E amazing at what he does, the staff is the best in class. I would say run don't walk to see him, but if you're in the kind of pain I was in, running isn't an option, so find a way to get in to see him.

Excellent experience. I am afraid of needles and the staff at SDOMG were very kind and accommodating. They treated me with a platelet lysate injection for De Quervain's Tenosynovitis. Pain subsided about 40% the first week, and to about 85-90% by week 10. Still good and exercising at week 24.

The front office & staff is bright, warm and friendly. The nurse had an exam room ready for me a few minutes before my appointment time (unusual these days!). She put me at ease; the doctor promptly came in, greeted me warmly and listened with care & concern. I didn't feel rushed. He answered all of my questions and made sensible recommendations for treatment. I appreciate his professional kindly manner. I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic, thorough evaluation for shoulder and wrists by Dr Ambach. I feel her assessment is spot on and appropriate suggestions for treatment. Actually referred me back to pain clinic as it seems to be more of an issue relating to nerve compression. I truly enjoyed the office and all care takers involved in treatment. I’m really impressed that the doctor does US right in the treatment room to assess issue. So efficient and smart to do this way!! I highly recommend this office! ~Lynn

Outstanding teleconsult with Dr. Rogers. He was knowledgeable and specific and very straightforward He graciously indicated why I might not be an appropriate candidate for his protocols. But I was so impressed that if I hear of others with problems I will recommend him. He is a first-class gentleman who knows his field. He has integrity. His sincerity comes across. Strong staff support.

Dr. Rogers & his entire staff are incredible. Very patient and caring. Answered all of my questions & understood my goals. I had PRP treatment on my elbow and it is life changing! I’m healing well & my pain has gone from an 8 to a 2. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers and the services he provides.

This was my second time to this practice , but the first as the patient. My husband has been a patient here, and we have been very pleased with the quality of compassionate, knowledgeable, intelligent, personalized thoughtful care he received- Dr Ambach has gone above and beyond, and the staff are great. Now, after my first visit as a patient, I can say the same. I particularly like that they focus on complementary therapies, in addition to conventional, which is very welcome. Addition for 12/22, as this apparently didn't post before! Have been a patient of Dr Ambach's for about 6 months now, and find her thoroughly professional, capable and creative. She I also a very good communicator, and always accessible for any questions or concerns. My two previously torn shoulder tendons are now healed after PRP, and my cervical issues (multiple discs issues and arthritis) are improving, though not yet where we'd like it to be. I definitely recommend them!

I got to my appointment early as instructed to fill out new patient paperwork. I wish I could have received the paperwork via email so I could fill it out before hand and either email back or hand carry it in. My appointment started on time which I appreciate. It tells me that they feel my time is valuable. I also appreciate that they scheduled time to perform a treatment because I live a long ways away. Though I would have liked it if I was told that was an option before hand so I could discuss it with my husband. Dr Ambach did an ultrasound in my shoulder to identify the location of the calcium deposits and actually found more than was recorded from my MRI. I appreciate that she was thorough that way. She also walked me through the Shockwave treatment and told me what feedback would help her target the right areas better. Overall I was very pleased with my visit.
