*****Update***** A representative from Sakomed reached out to me after posted my review. They were professional and friendly and quickly rectified the issue. I’m impressed with how quickly they worked with me to correct t the issue. She also explained why I hadn’t gotten a response before, which was satisfactory. Overall I would recommend Sakomed. They are typically responsive and will help solve issues as they arise. I purchased a covidien feed machine in November 2024. the machine worked great for the first couple of weeks but then started to malfunction about a month after purchasing. I contacted the company and they were responsive and stated they would send a replacement. They did so promptly and I sent back, at my own expense, the damaged machine. There was some issues with extra costs that were unexpected but this has now been rectified.

Purchased a Valleylab Ligasure in May off of Ebay. The item was described as new so we paid more for it instead of one of the comparable used units off of Ebay. When the unit arrived it was not new and it did not work. Sakomed exchanged the unit for another one that appeared quite used and it too did not work. When I asked for a refund they explained that there would be a hefty 'restocking' fee so we agreed to take another unit. The third unit was scratched up and worked for a short while. However, it too stopped working after the third use. We contacted the company again but they no longer respond to our emails. We are now forced to buy another unit. We are going to buy the next one from a company that we have had a much better experience with. Someone once told me that sometimes you end up spending a nickel trying to save a penny. That is exactly what we did when we bought equipment from this company. I would recommend shopping elsewhere.
