But Wait! there are some things you should do if you are serious about Owning your Own Home.
Preparing to buy a Home-
Start saving early for a Down Payment for a Home. While there are NO Down payment programs, ( Call me ! ) you will at least need some of your own money for a home inspection, Down payment to secure the property with the owner and closing costs.

Get a preapproval letter. Most preferably from a local lender. It does not have to be your bank, I can recommend a good lender my home buyers have used in the past and are pleased with.
Choose a real estate agent carefully. Choose an agent that works Full time and is a Realtor. A Realtor is more than just an agent, A Realtor is held to a higher standard and code of ethics than a real estate agent. Choose an agent that can be available for you any time, to answer your questions, show homes and meet important deadlines. Many offers on homes are due by a certain day and time. Purchase contracts have important dates and time lines to meet. Also it may be best to use a Local agent that knows the area, homes that will be coming soon and customs of our unique area.
