Safari Desert camp, Oman

This place provides a great experience. It's located in the BIDIYAH region in Oman. First you have to reach their office and they will give you some guidance. Exactly opposite to their office is the petrol pump, DO NOT FORGET to deflate the car tyres at the appropriate pressure (15-18) if you wanna drive properly in the desert. The exact spot is 28 kms away from their office. 8 kms of it contains road. The rest 20 kms, you have to follow the track and keep moving in the same direction (for better understanding, they provide a small map on the paper as well). We got the biggest rooms (1 double bed and 2 single bed). The staff provides a welcome tea & coffee. They have wifi too but the signals are weak in rooms. There's a restaurant in the middle and they provide buffet options for dinner and breakfast. To make it an even better experience for the guests, they host a singing and dance performance by the local people, it's fun indeed. The place is perfect for star gazing. Do give it a try once.

We had a wonderful stay at Safari Desert Camp!. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are really nice and food is delicious and fresh. For activities we rode quads and did a sunset camel ride and enjoyed both. We traveled with 2 teenage boys. We had a beautiful time in the desert.

The tents were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, blending modern comfort with traditional desert charm. Dinner under the stars was a highlight - delicious local dishes, live music, and a cozy fire that made the night unforgettable

I stayed one night at Safari Desert Camp in Bidiyah and it was a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful in the middle of the desert, the staff were very welcoming, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the desert activities made the stay even more enjoyable. A great place to relax and experience the real desert vibe.

Had an amazing experience at the desert safari camp! The atmosphere was magical, with beautiful views, warm hospitality, and exciting activities. The traditional dinner and cultural performances were unforgettable. A perfect escape from the city — highly recommended!

We stayed of new year and they had some DJ we had to pay extra 50 rial for to have a really annoying trance/electro/… music in the middle of the desert. You go there for some tranquility and being mostly alone but then they do this. Nothing culturally interesting or relevant and absolutely not what you are looking for if you go to the desert for new years. I strongly recommend anyone to just rent some camping gear and a guide. It is cheaper and much much nicer than these camps. This was booked for us as part of a tour but i would strongly advise against these camps. Expensive too but this one was extra awful due to horrible management decisions.

Spent one night at Safari Desert Camp and absolutely loved it. The camp is well organized, the rooms are cozy, and the dinner under the stars was unforgettable. The staff made us feel very welcome, and the desert views were stunning. Perfect spot for a short desert getaway!

I visited the Safari Desert Camp, and it was a gorgeous, peaceful, and amazing place in the middle of the desert. The camp was very good, the food was delicious (especially the dinner and breakfast), and their service was top-notch. I consider it a five-star hotel!

Especially the service in the camp thanks to the great staff… actually they make the atmosphere in the camp and thanks to them we felt very good (from restaurant to reception)!

Been there multiple times over the years, was good every time. Remote area in the desert, so quite calm and dark at night.
