The Russian Turkish Baths was founded in 1892 in New York. Boris Tuberman and David Shapiro took over in the early 1980’s. Boris Tuberman introduced co-Ed days and membership cards which make the Russian Turkish Baths flourish. After much research, travel and a love for the banya culture , Boris Tuberman with his daughter Dorina built the Russian Turkish Baths on beautiful Miami Beach 100 feet away from the Atlantic Ocean.
