This is Dorina the owner of the Russian Turkish Baths in Miami. I grew up at the 10th street Baths in New York and would be able to tell you a hundred stories about growing up in a bathhouse but stay toned for my book for that. My father Boris Tuberman is the man who made the Russian Turkish Baths in New York Since 1892 what it is today, a world famous bathhouse. He introduced coed days and membership which made the banya thrive. We traveled the world together and visited many bathhouses in Turkey, Russia, Japanese Onsen, China, Germany, the hot springs in Italy, Israel. . After our travels we built the Russian Turkish Baths in Miami Beach together. Many years of research and a love for banya culture went into building this banya for our clients. My dad really built it for me, but I’m glad everyone gets to enjoy it! We are one hundred feet from the ocean which makes it an amazing location. We take advantage of this with our saltwater jacuzzi which pumps water from a 95 ft well beneath the beach directly from the Atlantic Ocean. We have a cleaning staff scrub the entire space disinfecting every corner, every room, every massage room, every sauna, every steam room, every door handle, every shower, every day. I’m a little bit of a clean freak and I’m proud to check and make sure everything is scrubbed, disinfected and cleaned. We drain both ice tanks everyday, scrub, disinfect, and refill with fresh water. The jacuzzi is also drained everyday, scrubbed,disinfected and refilled
