Rugby Taxi

Kabir is an excellent and very trustworthy taxi driver. He has safely dropped my wife and daughter to the airport many times, even when I wasn’t there. He is always on time, polite, and reliable. Airport pickups and drops are always smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Useless, avoid them. The guy on the phone doesn't care about his job and gets basic things wrong. Had to repeat the address multiple times to him when booking and he ended up booking for the wrong time. Called in the morning when the car didn't turn up and he obviously answered while still in bed. The driver said he'd been given the wrong time after turning up 15 minutes late.

I have been using Rugby Taxi for over a year now and I book a taxi from the train station every fortnight. I know I can rely on Rugby Taxi and I choose no other firm. From the first day I booked them, I have found them to be punctual, reliable, very polite and the cars are always clean inside (makes a big difference on any journey). They drive the quickest route to get me to my destination if there are any roadworks etc. I highly recommend Rugby Taxi to any passenger because of all the above mentioned and the way they are so professional. That's why I give them my 5 stars rating.

Terrible Experience - Unprofessional Driver and Threats of Violence ​Rating: 1/5 Stars (Abysmal) ​I am writing this review to strongly advise against using Rugby Taxis in Rugby. My recent experience was genuinely disturbing and completely unacceptable. ​The driver I was assigned was utterly unprofessional from the moment I booked. When I initially booked they told me it was going to be 15 to 20 minutes. 30 minutes later there was no sign of the taxi. I called again and they said they didn't have a booking for me then I heard the driver in the background saying he was the one who need to go! When I spoke to him he told me he was on his way to pick up a burger and would be with me in 20 minutes (I had said I needed the taxi urgently due to having to work). I informed him to this was not acceptable and to get here before he goes for the burger! He was adamant and told me that he will shove the burger in my face if I don't pipe down, I then hung up on him. I had to then order another taxi from a different company. However, the the original rude guy kept calling and asking to keep the job as he wanted to get paid I told him I do not want to see you or hear from you again and hung up. However, he kept ring and I had to ignore the calls. This is an outrageous and terrifying way to be treated by a service provider, especially one entrusted with public safety. Upon calling the company to complain they actually laughed and hung the phone up. ​I immediately reported this incident to the local license authority and expect a full investigation. However, for potential customers, please be aware that using this service may put your safety and well-being at risk. A taxi service must, above all, be safe and reliable. This driver was neither. Avoid Rugby Taxis. Edit. They did eventually send another taxi driver who was very polite and helpful and got me to my destination safely.

Nice friendly driver, clean car. He saved me walking in the rain. Will definitely use again.

Tried to call them and book a taxi for a business trip and they made it so hard to communicate and eventually they hung up. I wanted to support a local business, but I guess that is not always the best case.

Great service, even managed to get us back in time for our train!
