One common crime that you could face is driving under the influence (DUI) 🚗 🍺. Different states refer to DUI as different things. Some may use the term operating under the influence (OUI), or driving while intoxicated (DWI).
If a police officer thinks that you are driving under the influence, they may ask you to participate in the standardized field sobriety tests. These tests are:
- The walk and turn test
- The one leg stand test
- The horizontal gaze nystagmus test
