What is the Bill of Rights?
The first ten amendments to our Constitution make up the Bill of Rights. They include:
1. Freedom of speech, religion, press, petition, and assembly.
2. Right to bear arms
3. No quartering soldiers
4. Freedom from unreasonable seizures and searches
5. Freedom from double jeopardy and self-incrimination, right to due process of law
6. Right to speedy and public trial
7. In civl cases, right of trial by jury
8. Freedom from cruel and unusual punishment, freedom from excessive bail
9. Other rights of the people
10. Powers of states
