Many of you are probably working from home, like our staff is. Here are a few tips that we have found make working from home easier:
1️⃣ Pretend like you're going to work. Have a regular morning routine ☕️ and work routine. Get up and get dressed. Stick to a schedule to help get yourself into the work groove.
2️⃣ Have a dedicated area or room where you work. This can help you draw a line between work and life. 💻
3️⃣ Schedule short breaks and walk away from your work area to take them. Get up for a few minutes and make a cup of tea, play with a pet, stretch, etc 🐶. Taking your eyes off of the computer screen for a few minutes will help you feel rested and ready to get back to work.
4️⃣ Stay connected to your colleagues through platforms like slack, email, zoom, facetime, and more 📲. Just because you aren't physically with your coworkers doesn't mean that you can't communicate with them. Our office has zoom meetings and google hangouts every day.
5️⃣ Don't overwork. It's tempting to work long hours when you have access to work 24/7. Put in quality, productive days, but also remember to stop and spend time with your family or working on your own health. 🧠♥️
