I was a customer for many years (until last week), bringing all of my dress shirts & trousers to be cleaned and pressed, and was generally satisfied with their service. Over the past year, their service has changed and not for the better. Recently, I brought a cotton/linen shirt (80% cotton) in for cleaning/pressing, an item that they have serviced previously and have always charged the price for cleaning a cotton shirt. Recently, they charged the linen price, which is three dollars more to process. They reasoned that it contained linen, even though it had not REQUIRED special processing previously. There have been occasions when the price they charge (on the cleaning ticket) when dropping off an item is up-charged when picking the item back up. Additionally, any item with a stain (no matter how minute the stain) is now up-charged. I wear XL shirts and sometimes XXL (SLIM FIT) based on the cut, and they now charge extra for XXL, claiming special handling (even though they are the SAME size as a standard XL shirt). Furthermore, on multiple occasions, I brought them items for repair, which were not repaired/returned by the promised date. The final straw for me was due to a cotton dress shirt processed by them. The shirt was relatively new and had all its buttons fully attached when I brought it in for cleaning, but when the shirt was returned, it was missing two (2) buttons in the middle of the shirt, rendering it unwearable until repaired. I brought the shirt back to them with the cleaning tag still attached and explained that I received it back damaged. But instead of apologizing and correcting the damage that occured while in THEIR possession, they charged me ($10) ten dollars to sew on two new buttons. While these may be minor incidents, cumulatively, they add up. I no longer trust their services and believe that their new business model is to extract as much as they can from their customers. As an FYI, there is no pricing displayed, so BUYER BEWARE. Not that it really matters, since I believe they make it up as they go along.

I brought items in for alteration and the woman behind the counter was super helpful and kind. There is a dressing room available and she will let you know how the alterations done may change certain aspects of the garment. They are also ever transparent with pricing. A blouse and a silk dress were $42.
