Is a shrew a mouse or a mole?
Reports of tamed shrews - tamed to the death, are on the rise this. Are these strange creatures a mouse or a mole?
-Not a mouse-
Shrews are about the same size as a mouse. Shrews’ odd feet, legs, and pointy nose indicate it is something different. Shrews are not scavengers but hunt down mice, birds, and other small creatures. Look at their legs and be duly impressed they can catch anything!
-Not a mole-
Moles are insectivores and live underground. Shrews hunt above ground. Shrews have similar features to moles in appearance, but their life functions quite differently.
-Do you need pest control for shrews-
Typically shrew sightings are one-off occurrences. If there is a large shrew population, pest control for mice and other small creatures they would be hunting would be the ticket to reducing their numbers. Usually, a simple trap will take care of the shrew itself. For any shrew-related needs in Phoenix, AZ, reach out to the shrew tamers at Rove Pest Control.
