Mike, at Roughing it in Style, was fantastic! He took the time to learn what I wanted, even when I didn’t always know. He was very patient and an excellent listener. I would highly recommend him. Thanks Mike! Also, the furniture is high quality and perfect for our cabin. Roughing it in Style had a great selection of furniture. In addition, the two delivery guys were very courteous and efficient.

Upscale but suited for a Northwoods type of home. Personal service to select fabrics. Custom built furniture. My chair and ottoman are 15 years old and looking/feeling great--with daily use. I finally ordered a couch to match my chair, as my 15 year old chair will be with me for awhile.

I recently purchased a dining room set and two end tables from Roughing It near Harshaw, Wisconsin. It was my first visit to their store and my first purchase. I have to say it was probably the best shopping/purchase experience I have ever had in my 74 years!! I was blown away by the quality of their furnishings and extensive inventory. I worked with Erik and Mike in the store, and they were both outstanding, providing me with great advice and recommendations. Delivery was done in short order by Tom and Jesse, and again probably the best delivery service I have ever experienced. They were very friendly, extremely competent and professional!!! I can't recommend Roughing It highly enough. I know I will be back for more purchases. An absolute jewel in northern Wisconsin!! Marc

I would give more than 5 stars if possible! We love this place!! The furniture is top quality unique pieces. There is always something new every time we visit. Erik is great to work with. I highly recommend!!

We would recommend this store to everyone. Great in store service, helpful but not at all pushy. Great communication as our furniture order arrived to the store. Delivery was on time. They called before they came. The delivery guys were careful yet efficient, friendly and as excited about our purchase as we were. Furniture is solid and well made. We are so happy with our whole experience.

Staff at Roughing It are most genial and accommodating: Emily had great suggestions, set up a delivery schedule, and, in a nutshell, made us want to come again; Tom and Kyle made delivery, and removal, a piece of cake—plus they’re nice guys.

What a great place to visit and dream about future projects: woodcrafts such as small tables, actual purchases, and decorating for others as I do sometimes. The rugs were $175 on up. At times I have found it tough to find just the right rug. Glad I saw they have so many. Missed this last time I searched furniture stores in Minoqua cause it is a little further south.

Very nice, upscale furniture and accessories store with large inventory.The only problem is that everything is so expensive that you think twice about purchasing something. Good location on 51 and plenty of parking.

Such a great place for cabin decor! Lots of cool pieces that perfectly represent the North Woods!

I love this store. We just recently moved to Phillips and needed a new couch that was soft but supportive. Seemed like an impossible mission to find such a piece when we had to get rid of 3 couches purchased from Renovation Hardware and Pottery Barn because they were so uncomfortable. I thought if big stores like those don’t carry what we want ( and at top prices mind you) then how could there be something in a little town like Minocqua way up north? Well, I was wrong! I walked into Roughing It In Style and within 5 minutes spotted the perfect thing we were looking for right off the show floor. Kim, the manager was there and was knowledgeable and helpful in processing our order. 5 days later, we’ve got a great new couch and the delivery men even took away our ridiculously heavy Renovation Hardware couch first thing upon arrival. Great company, beautiful furniture that is also COMFORTABLE and excellent service all around.
