Over Labor Day weekend our plumbing quit working. Roto Rooter came out that Sunday to pump our septic and came back out on Monday to snake one of the main lines. We were back in business! It was not cheap by any means, but I understood it was a holiday. Also, since it was so pricey I expected the problem to have been solved. However, 4 months later we started having the same issue. I felt that since we paid so much to have it fixed the first time, that we shouldn’t have to pay again since the problem came back so soon. Roto Rooter provided GREAT customer service and came back out all the way to Mineral County free of charge to make sure the problem was solved. They went an extra mile to make sure the blockage was gone to the best of their ability. They allowed me to watch them put the camera down the line and see what the issue is. Jordan was very informative, and even the owner Daniel stopped by to make sure everything was getting taken care of properly. Daniel is very kind and polite. He gave great advice to maintain the issue going forward. Keep in mind-everyone’s situation is different. I would use them again!

Root-Rooters will swindle you. We were given a loose quote of $1200-$1400 for a septic pump. We were in a bind for time and agreed. The job was mismanaged from day 1, and their techs spent hours sitting in our driveway idling their trucks and the digger. It took them 3 days to finish a simple septic pump and the moment they finished, the tech stood at the front door and berated my husband to pay $3000 immediately. Apparently they charge an $1800 digging fee for maybe 30 mins of digging. Who has $3000 lying around?? We were also never told they would demand payment up front, and so aggressively. This company is 100% corrupt down to its core and management does not care about people. Our mistake for not looking at other poor reviews. DO. NOT. USE. THIS. COMPANY. Literally get a quote from anywhere else. They also left our lawn in shambles and we have to clean that up now too. EDIT: after leaving this review and my husband calling the office countless times, the dig fee was lowered to a much more reasonable and affordable price. 2nd EDIT: Roto-Rooters apparently is never through with punishing us. They saved up the August and September checks we’d written them and deposited them both at the same time in October, draining our account entirely. Since we live paycheck-to-paycheck and our budget is extremely tight, we are now no longer able to afford our mortgage payment this month. My husband called to alert them of this, and the manager told him we should be better with our money, that my husband wasn’t “raised right” and that we should always assume that businesses will hold off and deposit checks all at once, months later. He then hung up on my husband. We have no other recourse except to leave this review. ****We were well and truly swindled by this horrific company, their corrupt management, and their miserable business practices. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST TO YOURSELF. ****

Tried making an appointment in January to snake my main line. They would not schedule an appointment and said they’d just put us on their list. Called back a week later and they said they’d same thing. Never did call back. Ended up buying my own snake and doing it myself. Way cheaper doing that than have them come anyway. Would not recommend them at all.

The guy was here 20min with a drain snake and charged us $320. Didn't move our washer back, didn't clean up.

Bill at RROM was great. Personable and knowledgeable. Using video camera and locator equipment, Bill was able to quickly and accurately find a damaged under slab drain pipe . Appreciate RROM for the prompt service (and fair price). Thank to Bill and Dan (owner). Tony C

This company is an absolute sham. The individual that came to our home started by not wearing shoe covers. He was unable to resolve the problem during the first visit and said he would return on another day with a supervisor. When the second appointment came, the supervisor wasn't with him and he still wasn't able to resolve the issue. In addition to the poor service, he quoted me $300-$400 and after everything was "complete" our bill was over $500.

They sent a guy- he was at my house for 17 minutes, and they charged me 600. When I called for an explanation guy couldn't give me one and said, "I'll see what I can do." Hung up. Never heard from him again. Sad because our first experience was excellent.

Great service, answered my questions for continued care of my septic tanks and drain field. Driver took care to stay off the yard. Will see them again in 2-4 years!

Only use these guys as a last resort. They charged us $380 to clean the main line for our septic system. On top of that, they charge a 10% processing fee if you want to use a credit card. Such a joke of a company. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the guys who came out to the house were half decent people.

This is the company we use for any plumbing situation. They also do septic. Daniel is super nice and over the phone he actually cares about diagnosing and helping to devise a plan before coming over. Good manners, good customer service.
