What NOT to Put in Your Garbage Disposal
Your garbage disposal isn’t built for everything. Putting the wrong items down the drain can cause clogs, damage, and costly repairs. At Rooter Man Plumbing of Carson City, we recommend keeping these items out of your disposal:

❌ Rice & pasta
❌ Fibrous foods (celery, corn husks)
❌ Bones & fruit pits
❌ Potato peels
❌ Nuts & shells
❌ Chemical drain cleaners
When in doubt, toss it in the trash or compost.
