When I got it in my head I wanted to whitewater raft on our late August trip to Colorado, I hadn’t realized it was past that season for most rafting companies. So I am so grateful that Rocky Mountain Whitewater Rafting was still running trips and appreciated their hybrid rafts which allowed better passage through shallower areas of Clear Creek.
Our guide Erik was extremely knowledgeable and effective in his instruction. Our boat had 3 newbies and he helped us enjoy the thrill of the activity while still maintaining the focus on safety.
I loved having the action photos of our trip and felt the price was very reasonable, especially compared to other tourist activities we’ve done stateside and internationally.
Would highly recommend for anyone in Denver or Boulder looking for trips ranging from beginner (what we did) to extreme.
And there were two sweet, lovable dogs on site which is always a bonus.

Amazing! I’ve been rafting 6 times in different parts of the world. Wanted to take my brother and niece 11 for the first time so we chose a beginner route on clear Creek. So fun for all levels. Our guide David Montgomery was incredibly talented and took great care of us. We were in wonderful hands. Amazing memories made, and would highly recommend. Nice to see a locally owned and operated company.
