The Lapidary staff, including Adam the owner were instrumental in designing, developing and producing an engagement ring made by them.. the ring is beyond my expectations, well crafted and constructed.. I would suggest and recommend lapidary jewelers for all your custom needs and wants! Thanks for everything Adam, we are both pleased with the engagement ring!

I was initially told that my ring would take 2 weeks to fix due to a repair person going on vacation, but they had it ready in 6 days! I really loved the experience from start to finish, it was smooth and easy and they have a beautiful selection for both men and women here!

I took my wife's ring in because it appeared that she had lost some stones. The young man that helped me told me that he would take a look at it and contact me when finished. Less than 2 hours later he contacted me and said the ring was ready to be picked up. Turns out she had just gotten something on the ring. They cleaned it up good as new and didn't even charge me. I would highly recommend them.

I carried on the family tradition of purchasing an engagement ring from Rochester Lapidary Jewelers. My Dad purchased my Mom’s engagement band here in 1988, and I did in 2021. My spouse lost the ring in May 2025, so RLJ helped me order the exact same ring to replace it. They helped us re-size it in-store while we waited, and cleaned our wedding rings too.

After 36 yrs of marriage I decided to have my wedding ring redone. I went to Rochester to visit my daughter and she recommended Lapidary. I met Ari on a walk in visit and he instilled the trust I needed. He worked with me to design a ring that still held my original stones but built on my 36 yr marriage. Truly Lapidary’s team is wonderful but Ari is the true diamond of that team. I love the ring he created and I will hand it down to my daughter on the future. He was so patient with the particulars I wanted. I love this ring!!

On 08/09/2022 I took my 1956 Rolex President watch to Rochester Lapidary Jewlers. I had just had a complete service on the watch and rebuild of the 18k band by another jewler in Miami Florida. When I got my watch back it was too loose and needed a link removed. When I took it to Rochester Lapidary to remove a link they stated they could do that for me. When I was watching the jewler via a video screen I could see him struggling to unscrew the link and really torqued on the band. When they gave the watch back to me I just put it on to check the fit. As it seemed to fit fine I paid them and left. The next day I was looking at the band and saw the link was bent badly. I took it to them and they said the watch would need to be sent to a Rolex jewler in New York for repair They didn't say who would pay for the shipping or repair. I was so angry that they had returned my watch without admitting they had bent the link and stripped the screw i had no confidence with them. I wanted to return my watch to the jewler in Miami so he could repair it. They refused to pay for that and would only pay for a Rolex jewler in New York to do it. Mike, the store manager, I assume, stayed in his office and never even came out to discuss my concerns. This jewler has no quality control since nobody even looked at the work performed by their jewler. I wouldn't let them work on a timex! Run don't walk away from this jewler!

Adam, Ari, and the great folks at Rochester Lapidary Jewelers did an outstanding job crafting the perfect wedding rings for my wife (fiancé at the time) and myself. We would highly recommend Rochester Lapidary Jewelers for all of your gem/jewelry needs, all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and a true pleasure to work with, and if they don't have it, they can create it exactly how you envision it. Truly top notch.

Oh my goodness!! The service here is top notch! My fiance proposed to me Sunday, and there were tiny gems I wanted to tweak on the ring, I met with Connie on Wednesday, we picked out gems that would fit, and it was done Friday after noon! I am completely blown away and will be singing their praises all over town. Thank you so much for helping me have my dream ring 🥰😍

Shannon in particular is extremely knowledgeable, creative and provides customer service like no other! She takes the time to listen to what is important to me when I'm selecting jewelery and/or creating special pieces. She's a true gem! Ask for her thoughts next time you visit.
