I first met Richard after I had just accepted a settlement from my insurance company from Hurricane Ian. What I thought was fair settlement turned out to be not so fair! Richard and his team felt that the damage I received was double the amount the insurance company offered! They also felt that my asphalt roof should have been replaced (not just repaired!) Richard and his team went to work! They were not only able to get additional money for my roof but also other money for additional damage that was not covered initially! This is the company to contact if you have a major hurricane or a significant homeowners claim. My only regret is that I did not contact them initially. Having worked as an insurance agent in the past, I thought I could depend on the system and communicate directly with the insurance carrier. However, I was consistently undervalued and had to constantly correct their misinformation about the property, the damage, and start the process all over again because of frequent changes in claims handlers, which led to sloppiness and communication issues. I finally got fed up, went to a friend who referred me to R&K. Kristen and Richard at R&K did a great job in putting some fire back into my claim from Hurricane Ian and essentially documenting and guiding my claim to a 60% increase. Back in November of 2024 my insurance company sent out an adjuster to look at my roof damage from Hurricane Milton. After he submitted his report the insurance company told me that I had approximately $1600 worth of damage and my deductible for hurricane was $9800 so there was no money from the insurance company. My roofer gave me Richard Redd's phone number from RKM consulting firm to contact. Richard called me back and went to work contacting my insurance company. Final settlement was $40,000 after the deductible. I could not be happier with Richard and his company. I am getting a new roof.

We contacted Mr. Richard Redd in July of 2022 to work on our behalf with getting our roof damage covered by our insurance company. We spoke with several roofers previously who said that they could get the insurance to cover the damage but they never succeeded. Mr. Redd was excellent, he was very persistent and patient and eventually successful. It was a pleasure dealing with Richard, he was very honest and kept us informed as the process continues. After the storm I filed a claim with my insurance company and they stated my damage wasn’t related to hurricane Ian.
