Riverbend Terrace Senior Apartments

I lived here for almost 5 years. My family members died here. As I was leaving, the new manager Laurie saw that I was moving all my heavy furniture by myself. She lit up a cigarette while laughing with her friend and said “You have to put the furniture IN the dumpster if you want to get any of your deposit back. If you get any back at all.” I heard the maintenance man say that she was going to shoot herself in the foot and she didn’t have to do that. I was very exhausted and hurt. So I loaded all of that heavy furniture in the dumpster by myself. Others had previously left it BY the dumpster. I guess she decided to go the extra mile in managing because I was a “nice woman” so why not. She ruined my experience and STILL didn’t give me my deposit back. I can see wanting to be an overachiever, but do it where it matters. Trespassed people walked right past her. The power trip on the nice residents is sickening. She was extra for no reason when she didn’t need to be. I hope the new owners fix this issue.
