Dr Rivela and his team actively listen to your desires and concerns. In DFW I had saline implants exchanged 11 years ago and I told that surgeon that because I was going with silicone that if he needed to go a tad bigger than my saline sized C, I could be okay with that as silicone are pre-sized. I woke up to full DD on my 104lb frame. I tolerated them for 11 years because I couldn’t justify spending another ~$10k. I finally decided to make my change and related my story to Dr. Rivela and his team. They listened so well and understood that bI also have numerous rare lung conditions and we all agreed to do the surgery at Hermann Memorial to make sure things were as safe as possible. I am only three weeks out but I couldn’t be happier! I look more proportionate and my breathing has improved so much after removing those heavy implants. I did go back with 240cc implants band removed the 375cc ones. I also had a lift because even with wearing sport bras 24/7, the weight of my other implants dictated a lift. All of this might be TMI, but if it helps one person would might be struggling with the decision on whether to do something like this…my whole body couldn’t be happier that I did it. And more so that I went to Dr. Rivela.

Dr Rivela is very detail oriented, but also an artist. I love that he has his patients best interests at heart. Userd him for tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation and everything went smoothly. He talked me through everything and helped me make informed decisions. I visited 3 other surgeons prior to choosing him. I have no reservations recommending him to other people.

Dr Rivela and his team are so amazing. They are so attentive and make you feel so comfortable while giving you the best guidance. Self care is so important and to have them by your side along the way is priceless. Cannot be more grateful to have them in my corner.

My experience with Dr. Rivela and his staff was excellent. From the time I arrived for my consultation to having my procedure done, everything went well and smoothly. Loved Abby, she was great and answered all my questions and concerns. My results definitely exceeded my expectations and very pleased with the outcome. The staff is amazing and so helpful! I had such a wonderful experience with this facial! From the moment it started, I felt completely relaxed and well taken care of. his review is being posted 15 months after surgery. The staff is excellent, and Dr. Rivela is professional; however, I am very unsatisfied with my results. I strongly recommend that during your consultation you make sure everything you request, want, and expect is clearly documented in the medical notes. I went in specifically for a breast reduction and implant removal and some liposuction.. I clearly stated that I wanted my implants removed and additional breast tissue removed, as I naturally have a lot of breast tissue and wanted my breasts to be noticeably smaller. My implants were only used as fillers after nursing my children—not to increase size. Unfortunately, it appears those details were not properly documented. Only my implants were removed, and I did not receive the breast reduction we discussed. I was a 36DDD and clearly expressed that my goal was to be a C or small D. During post-operative visits, it became clear that the assumption was simply that removing the implants would make my breasts smaller. I already knew I had large breasts, and I do not feel that concern was fully listened to or addressed. I never added implants to make my breasts larger—I added them for fullness—and my goal was to have them removed and to have smaller breasts overall. I also had abdominal liposuction, but I see very little difference—only minimal improvement. Several people have told me my stomach looks the same, as if I never had liposuction at all. Had I known this would be the outcome, I would have been much more specific and firm and repeatedly reminded the doctor of my expectations. I saved money for this procedure and expected better results. Overall, while the staff and doctor were professional, I am disappointed with the outcome and feel my expectations were not met. I hope this helps somebody please make sure they write down notes from your consultation as I did not make sure of that.

Always a positive experience with Dr.Rivela. His entire staff is so friendly, professional and welcoming. Dr Rivela takes his time, tirelessly answering every question and concern. Wouldn’t trust such important work with anyone else.

Absolutely amazing place, the staff was warm and welcoming and Dr. R is an amazing doctor he gives real expectations and advice that is sound not just what you want to hear. I will always use them for any of my procedures as I feel like I am seeing a family friend not just another doctor. Absolutely recommend!

This man is an absolute nightmare. I will never forget him because he left me with permanent scars on my forehead, which I have seen every day for years now. He gave me two long permanent scars. During the procedure, he said, "Don't worry it will look like two "natural wrinkles." I was like- what? Nobody wants permanent wrinkles! He also removed too much tissue from my forehead, leaving an indented area above my right eye. He was also mean during the surgery, acting like I was a huge bother, though I barely said anything to him during the procedure. I regretted my decision almost immediately, based on his behavior, initially. I wish the women in his office would protect other women from him and his behavior. When I went back for a follow-up, after the healing, I shared my concerns. He got scary angry at me. Looking back, I think I was traumatized and frozen - exactly his goal- to scare you into going away. I cannot get over the positive reviews here; however, there are several that are really bad. There is no in between. Jekyll and Hyde, maybe? I discourage anyone from this monster and also encourage you to report to the medical board to save others from his mistreatment.
