Rio Rancho Smiles

I went to Rio Rancho Smiles because I had a broken tooth. At the time, they took care of me and removed it. Before I left, they gave me an out-the-door price. They billed my insurance and I paid the remaining balance in cash like I was told. Everything was supposedly paid and done. Six months later, out of nowhere, they started sending me a bill saying I still owe them money. I called and asked what the bill was even for since I haven’t been back to the dentist. They told me it was for that same visit. I explained that I already paid exactly what they told me to pay that day. Now they won’t stop harassing me with bills and text messages trying to charge me more money. This feels extremely dishonest and unprofessional. If there was an issue with billing, it should have been handled at the time, not half a year later. I DO NOT recommend this place. If you decide to go here, be very careful and watch out for hidden charges. It feels like they are more than willing to rip people off after the fact.

Dr Shokoohi has always been a professional with a good sense of humor. She is smart, warm, efficient and provides excellent care. Also her staff are pleasant and good at what they do. No bad attitudes at all. Dr Shokoohi also refers when it’s appropriate. I have nothing but good things to say about her and her staff.

I found the staff here to be excellent. Tatiana helped me to get some impressions done and she was very informative and polite. I'll definitely be coming back here again.

It was my first time there today and I had a sort of emergency situation with root canal and crown repair. Everyone was so kind and made sure I was comfortable and talking me through the entire process. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

I definitely like the atmosphere there at the dentist and my daughters will hopefully both be coming I know I already have one scheduled maybe the other one will follow I don't mind paying out-of-pocket definitely your place I'd recommend.

Definitely would recommend this dentist! Her and her staff are incredible, professional and show exceptional care for her patients. December 8, 2025 six months later and extremely satisfied that I made the move!! Doc and her staff are wonderful and make dentist visits something to look forward to even if I’m not always consistent & the best caretaker of my teeth, I can be honest without being shamed! Definitely recommend!!

Breath of fresh air !!! I needed emergency work and consulting and when I say these lady's were super amazing I don't say it lightly . From the phone call the day before . To the smiles and friendly faces awaiting my arrival. I have never felt more comfortable at the dentist before . Everyone was easy going and insightful and super acomidating to my uneasiness about being at the dentist . We laughed, we gasped , and most of all they got the job done ! I will forever recommend Rio rancho smiles to my abq family . I only wish I could steal them out to Dallas where I am from because I only want them to work on my teeth from here on out . Don't hesitate just call them you won't be disappointed
