Ridgeway Adventures

We went to Ridgewells as part of a family weekend in Oxfordshire. The setting in the countryside is beautiful. On arrival, everyone was friendly. Kai and Zack taught us about archery and had us safely shooting arrows in about 15 minutes! We enjoyed trying archery, and will be back again!

Went axe & knife throwing - it was absolutely excellent and great fun. Liam taught the session - skilled and expert tuition, but still very friendly and relaxed. With a few jokes as well! I've been to a few different places, this was hands-down the best. 🪓🪓🪓🪓🪓 P.s. ask Liam why they have pigs

I arranged an archery and axe‑throwing session for our company Christmas outing, and it was a hit with absolutely everyone. We’re a mixed bunch in terms of age, fitness and interests, but the whole team got stuck in and had a brilliant time. Paul was a fantastic archery instructor—knowledgeable, patient and great at giving tailored tips so even the beginners were landing shots with confidence. Liam handled the axe throwing and created a really welcoming, relaxed atmosphere while keeping safety front and centre. The whole afternoon was great fun from start to finish. I’d happily recommend it for work events, families or groups of friends, and I’m already planning a return visit.

Thrilling Family Day Out! ​We had an absolute blast exploring the target sports at this venue. From the satisfying thud of axe and knife throwing to the high-energy adrenaline of Airsoft, there was never a dull moment. ​It was the perfect way to spark some friendly competition among the family. The variety of activities kept everyone engaged, Liam made sure we were all kept safe while making it fun for all. Highly recommended for any family looking to ditch the screens and get active!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We went axe and knife throwing today for my husband’s birthday and it was absolutely amazing! We loved every minute of it – such a fun and unique experience. The atmosphere was brilliant, and it’s definitely something we’ll be doing again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something different and exciting!

Bought this as a gift for a friend just to try something new and we were both blown away.Fantastic archery experience with coach Paul. The session was informative while being light and fun. Paul was inclusive and really made us feel comfortable and gave us great tips and tricks so we really felt like we had improved and got to grips with it in the short session time. We later found out he used to be an olympic coach, so we felt honoured to have him teach us some basics. I think we might have the archery bug now! We also upgraded to the crossbow session which was super fun. We were buzzing when we finished. Loved the setting which was rustic but professionally laid out. All staff were friendly and enthusiastic. Will def be back. Plus some great pubs for lunch a few minutes drive away so could easily make a day of it.

Was bought as a gift for my partner by my mum and what an amazing gift!! We had the best time. Kine and Vorm (sorry if spelt wrong) were great. We both felt very safe and well looked after. They also let you try different things and completely made the experience enjoyable for all. Kine clearly knows his stuff which comes across in his very detailed and informative demonstration at the start. An absolute gold mine of a place, beautiful location and the staff definitely make the experience something special! We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Amazing experience, Cain was amazing at teaching us Archery and Liam at doing the axe throwing! Really friendly, family orientated place.

We had an amazing session here yesterday at the axe throwing. Cain was a brilliant instructor. He talked us through everything and was very encouraging. We even had a go at some tricks! Excellent value and so much more to offer do we will definitely be back! Maybe even arrange a work do 👍🏻

Was looking for things to do on our week trip to Oxfordshire and this looked perfect for the kids. Had a great time at Ridgeway Adventures, the staff Ciln/Cain was super friendly and helpful. We had fun in the laser maze followed by some axe throwing… perfect for 12 year olds. Even had some time for board games and chess which is nice to keep kids entertained. The shooting range looked good so maybe next time we’re back in Oxfordshire. Thanks for a lovely day.
