Meet Our Newest Trainer: Sam Meko at Ridgeside K9 Indy!
Ridgeside K9 Indy is proud to welcome professional dog trainer Sam Meko to our team! With over a decade of dog training experience, Sam brings unmatched expertise in obedience training, scent work, agility, and behavior modification.
Sam owns three highly trained German Shepherds, one of whom is a certified therapy dog. All three have earned AKC Canine Good Citizen certifications, including Advanced and Urban titles—proving that consistent training leads to real-world results.
Sam has also competed nationally, earning top placements in Rally, Scent Work, Agility, and Trick Dog through the American Stock Dog Registry. In 2024, Sam and his dog Lena took first place in scent detection at the American Police Canine Association’s prestigious Sniff Off.
