We’re thrilled to welcome Cheresa Burge to the Ridgeside K9 Indy family as our newest trainer! 🎉
Cheresa believes dog training is about more than obedience — it’s about unlocking potential, building trust, and strengthening the bond between dogs and their people. Her journey with Ridgeside K9 Indy began as a client, where the experience transformed her relationship with her own dogs and inspired her to help others do the same.
After training her dog, Kaitsja, as an emotional support companion, Cheresa’s passion for canine behavior deepened even further. Today, she’s expanding her skills by training a dog for search and rescue (SARS) with a focus on tracking, and she holds certifications in canine trauma response, CPR, and first aid — always putting safety and care first.
For Cheresa, this work isn’t just a passion — it’s a family mission. We’re proud to have her on our team and excited to see the positive impact she’ll make on dogs and their families across Central Indiana. 🐕💛
