One of the best scrap price payers around. Andrea is a joy and her smile makes my day. Most workers are nice and helpful. Every company has a grumpy employee or two, that’s life. Heck, dealing with scrappers every day might make me grumpy as some I’ve seen are naturally not happy and dealing with them daily must get on your nerves. Also dealing with scrapper scammers can’t be fun. The yard is clean and organized. I usually take in cars and not specialized metals. I like how they use the big magnet to pick up stuff that might give me a flat tire, that’s much appreciated! My son goes here also and likes them.

They don’t classify the loads properly and they excessively deduct for everything. A wheel barrow of dirt and concrete in the load was a 5000 pound deduction. Probably only weighed 700 pounds. So basically should have been paid about $550.00 left with about $150 for 3 tons of shred that filled up a 18 yard dump trailer. Total scammers! Won’t go back!

Lady at the front is fantastic, The gentleman at the smaller scale was very unprofessional did not put the correct metal grade on a lot of stuff. I’ll go to basic metals on 26 mile for now on.

So if you are going somewhere for very very clean and tidy service this is not the place. They are very busy. They do a very high volume of traffic. Their employees are very nice people. They always are willing to help even when they are in a obviously bad mood.. I hurt myself very badly one day going here. I stepped and fractured my ankle when I got off my truck. The employees rushed to my aid and help me make sure I was all right. They also helped me get rid of my scrap too. If they are not busy they will usually offer to help. They have good prices on scrap too. The guys in the shack know their job in and out. You better have your stuff sorted though or you're going to make them mad. I only go here

Great place, great people, great prices! Andrea who runs the truck scale is one of the nicest people I’ve met in Michigan. Definitely earned a customer for life!

Every time I've been to Richmond Recycling they treat you like they really appreciate your business. Friendly, courteous, helpful and even help unload the big stuff. There are places closer to me but I make the extra drive just because it's always a pleasant experience unlike some other places I've been. Couldn't ask for better service !!!

My company sends me on scrap runs, I drive right by Armada Recycling because at Richmond they don't act like you are an inconvenience. Very courteous people and usually get you right in and right out. Easy to navigate through their scrap yard and just a great experience for taking back scrap. I don't think I have ever been there for more than 1 hour at a time and have had a full load of 6+ skids to unload, great guys! Also the yard is relatively clean for a scrap yard, you don't have to worry about a tire blow out

I cleaned out my grandparents place a few weeks ago and took all the scrap metal here. After calling around, I went to Richmond because they had the best prices. As a girl I was a little nervous about going to a scrap yard by myself, but the guys out back helped me unload everything and separate it for the most money possible. The office staff was really friendly and helpful as well, and I was in and out of the place with a handful of cash in no time! Definitely will be returning in the future if I come across some more scrap. :)

Just left the recycling yard an hour ago, it was my first time with the process not sure of the nice woman at the scales name but she was very polite and made the process very easy and was very respectful I would go there if ever in need again thank you guys I will recommend them to all that I know who does this on a regular basis as well...
