My theory lessons were in the cozy boardroom, where I sat with about a dozen other students, watching driving concepts come alive on a big screen. We dove into everything from defensive driving techniques to the finer details of the Ghana Highway Code. I even learned how to change a tire—a skill I never thought I’d pick up in driving school! What really stood out was the team of instructors. I worked with three different teachers, each with their own unique teaching style. One was incredibly patient with manual transmission, another explained road scenarios so vividly, and the third had this calm energy that made mistakes feel like stepping stones instead of failures. Scheduling lessons and managing the DVLA process could’ve been stressful, but the lady at the front desk was a game-changer.
