At Rexburg Car Shop, we want to help you settle in with confidence and keep your vehicle running smoothly all semester long. Here are some key maintenance checks—and how to tell if you need them:
🔧 Oil & Fluids
Long drives burn more than gas. If your oil change light is on, or you hear engine noise or feel sluggish performance, it's time to check your oil, coolant, and transmission fluid.
🛞 Tires
Highway driving wears tires fast. If your tires feel bumpy, you notice uneven tread, or your steering feels off, it’s time for a checkup. We’ll inspect the tread, pressure, and rotate if needed.
🔋 Battery
Traveling in summer heat or using your AC nonstop can strain your battery. If your car is slow to start, or you notice dim lights, your battery might be due for a test—or a replacement.
🚙 Brakes & Suspension
Did your trip include mountain roads or stop-and-go traffic? If you hear squeaking, feel vibration when braking, or your car pulls to one side, it’s time to check the brakes and suspension system.
💨 AC/Heat Systems
Rexburg weather is a rollercoaster. If your car’s AC isn’t cooling or heat takes forever to kick in, it might need a recharge or repair.
