Broke down in an area we didn’t know, called Rex24 and within 30 minutes he arrived. He got the vehicle loaded quickly and professionally, and took us 50 miles straight to Red Funnel in Southampton with absolutely no issues or delays. Really friendly, reliable service and made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommend — would definitely use again!

I recently broke down about 7miles from home, having no breakdown cover I was in a bit of a pickle. I googled some recovery numbers and I was in for a long wait and very empty pockets. I called Rex 24hr Vehicle Recovery, spoke to a charming man called Stephen and was told he could be with me in 20mins and quoted a very reasonable price. He arrived on time and quickly had my car on his truck. I felt a bit anxious getting in to a vehicle with a man as was on my own, but he was very chatty and reassuring throughout our journey. Once we arrived at mine, again he unloaded very quickly. Even mentioned he would take me to a garage (when open) if necessary. I would highly recommend Stephen to anyone who needs his services, he was efficient, reliable, kind and most of all he beat everyone’s quotes!

A very professional and friendly service. Handled my breakdown with a quick response from a busy and tricky location on a main road near Oxford. Excellent and fair pricing and happy to recover me a couple hours back home on a Friday night. Hopefully I won't need such a service again, but if I did, Rex will certainly be my first point of call. I was having such a nightmare until Rex showed up to my car within 40 minutes, waited another 30 minutes for me to show up with my car keys as I had to go to work. Towed my car and called me when it was dropped. Extremely efficient service, thank you Rex!

On the way to work, my son got a flat tyre. He tried to remove it himself but was unable to, so he called the AA—who also couldn’t remove the wheel. The only option left was roadside recovery. I contacted Rex Recovery, as I’ve used them before. The gentleman I spoke to was kind, polite, and said he could be with me within half an hour. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the car keys, as my son was already at work, so I had to collect them from him, which took around 50 minutes. Despite this, the recovery driver had already arrived at the scene and waited patiently for over half an hour until I got there. He then efficiently loaded the car onto the trailer and delivered it to a garage to repair the tyre within a timeframe that suited my son, allowing him to collect it the same day—essential, as he needed the car for work. All I can say is, heroes don’t always wear capes. Thank you so much for your quick response, patience, and professionalism.

Broke down after putting the wrong fuel in my car. Rex was affordable and came out in less than 10 minutes, when other companies had quoted more money and a 3 hour wait time! Rex was friendly and approachable and got me sorted and home before anyone else would have even picked me up!
