Reverend Rita was fantastic! Couldn’t have asked for a better officiant. We were unfamiliar with the area and Rita had all the insider info..from what beach to have our wedding to where to dine afterwards. She pulled out all the stops with the arch, benches, runway and all of the little personalizations to make our day uniquely our own. She even did photography and completed our morning ceremony with a champagne toast and cupcakes for everyone. Before meeting Rita, I didn’t know how we would pull off a Hawaii wedding, so the entire trip made me nervous. After reaching out to Rita, I felt like we were in good hands and could trust that everything would be fabulous. She met with us on Zoom and we felt like good friends before we even got to Waikiki. While in Hawaii, she met with us in person beforehand to go over the remaining details. She went above and beyond to make our day special and affordable. From the moment we reached out, she responded quickly and took the time to genuinely get to know us as a couple, building a meaningful connection in such a short amount of time. On our wedding day, Rita arrived punctually, with excellent communication, ensuring there were no concerns about timing. Her husband, Trace, was also a great support, even helping us with something as thoughtful as bug spray. Both Rita and Trace were not only professional but also intentional and kind throughout the entire process. Rita did an amazing job, and took time and care to make our day special. She took the time to learn our story and share it during our ceremony. We were stressed about traffic and making it on time, and she gave us a call and her words relived our anxiety and kept us in the moment. My wife and I are beyond grateful to have found Rev. Rita. Not only is she the only one that extends services to the LGBT community but made our ceremony MEMORABLE! It was more perfect that we could ever have planned, imagined or prayed for. The communication, professionalism and attention to details was INCREDIBLE. Due to our families and friends been spread all over the world, she give us the gift of bringing them all together via zoom to witness our ceremony from their homes. Thanks To Rev. Rita We had a wonderful Wedding! It was out of this world. It was on May 4th and it was a Star Wars Theme and It was Cool that she was a Star wars fan like us and We are grateful for everything she has done for us.

My husband and I had been together for 11 years prior to deciding to elope to Hawaii. We were on vacation on O'ahu and were honestly completely unprepared. But then I found Rita. Rita immediately took the reins and let us know where to go, what to do, step by step. She advised which beach we could use, obtained the permit for us to get married on said beach, helped us get our marriage license quickly, and met with us over Zoom so she could get to know us and plan details for the big day. Her services were incredibly affordable, and she even threw in music at the ceremony for no charge when I neglected to think of/ask for it (don't worry, we thought of that when deciding on the gratuity!). Trace, her husband, was our photographer and he gave us so many beautiful pictures that captured our family perfectly. Rita somehow fully understood and expressed the love and dynamics of our family with her words during the ceremony. Remarkable, having just met us. Her genuine warmth and caring made the whole experience beautiful. Oh, and when she advises you where to go to dinner, listen to her! She won't lead you wrong. Mahalo nui loa, Rita!
