Celebrating a life doesn't have to be so hard. Have you thought about a memorial service?
Lets face it, the past few months have been tough, very tough. We've not been allowed to share our lives with our loved ones in the way we want and this has taken a toll on everyone.
As a celebrant, I have had quite a few funerals where families have told me that they were not even allowed to visit their sick relatives in hospital until it was too late, or that they are shielding, unable to venture out in fear of the virus. We are living in unprecedented times. No one should have to go through this, especially at such a vulnerable time...A memorial service is a ceremony for remembering someone who has died that takes place after the body has been buried or cremated. Memorial services can take place any time after the laying to rest.
A memorial service doesn't have to be like saying goodbye. It can be a celebration of life and its a great way to say all those things you wanted to say and do after the burial or cremation.
Today, with rules being different across the country it has been daunting. Let your celebrant do the hard work for you. We can act as a master of ceremonies and a neutral focal point. We want your guests to focus on what’s important and by bringing in family or friends to recite a personal poem, remember a funny story...Text or email me if you would like to talk about this...
