Excellent Retro Gaming store and it's within reasonable distance of Stokes County. They setup some time to go through my game collection and didn't pressure me to spend the money in the Store. Sometimes you have to dump your collection to fix the house.. P.S. - Tell em' Phil Collins sent you and to play his theme song. ;)

I don’t get to come here as much I live in Greensboro and work at a game store 😁 but I like to stop in when I’m in Winston! And I like this place it’s decorated cute and the staff was soooo super nice! Cool variety of games ! And had some cool loose Pokemon cards which was nice to see ! Guy who rung me up had a tails hat on which shows great taste that’s my favorite character lol

Dont buy or trade in your games. Ive had to return too many games and consoles because they dont work and on top of it, they can only give me in store credit to use on the same games and systems that dont work properly. So im out of my money and have broken products at the end of the day from them.

Popped in to grab a Christmas gift, and it's cool little store! Have some niche retro games with also some modern stuff as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely has me curious for future visits!

Today I went to Retroid, and I will definitely come back. First off, I really like how small the place is — it is insanely nice, with an insane amount of selection. Secondly, the workers were extremely friendly and helpful. I needed a memory card for my PSP (my other one broke), and I regret not getting the employee’s name so I could give them the credit they deserve. Last they are extremely cheap for a 8 gb disc and two really good games for 50 dollars and on other sites would be well over 150 dollars the only downside is that the memory card had a ton of downloaded videos and photos it took me a while to take off.

How am I only finding out about this place? After stopping into Burke Street pizza for the first time, the retro signage on the door caught my eye and we had to go and check it out. I was immediately welcomed by a wall of pokƩmon themed collectibles and a christmas tree decorated with the like. So cute! It was also really neat to see these retro games and consoles that could really take front and center stage. Unlike other used game stores, they really elevated and gave these a more dignified showcasing of value. Had me questioning whether I should be selling my old game boy games and consoles! Seems to be a market for this and I'm glad to see it. Felt like walking into an EB Game store for me. Shows how long I've been around. Sheesh.

First time being at the store and they had a lot of cool stuff in there especially if you're into the old retro games far back as Nintendo and Sega Master system. Found me a couple of items and was very happy with the service

Retroid Games is a legitimate travel destination. I kid you not, my experience there alone could have made the trip from Minneapolis worth every penny, and every second. The staff are not only helpful, they’re knowledgeable. They’re not only knowledgeable- they’re literally experts. Retroid holds everything they do to a higher standard and I’m beyond honored to have gotten the chance to shop there, not to mention the seemingly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a Panasonic Q in person. I’m a pretty passionate collector, so when I saw products there that I’d only ever merely heard of, I knew I’d found something special. Look, there are a lot of cool shops out there, but for real- don’t sleep on Retroid. Whether it’s games, cards, modern, vintage, or anything in between- this is the spot!

From a New Yorkers perspective: Fantastic! Amazing prices that are better than you would find anywhere else in NY, and good service from the owner who clearly knows what he's doing with old consoles. Highly recommended for any retro fans who happen to be in the city.

Retroid is awesome. They price fairly - they get to make money without ripping off gamers. The staff has been friendly and helpful every time I've been in. In the unlikely event you have a problem with something you bought, they'll work with you to find a solution! I bought a GC game that wouldn't load on my console. Brought it back in and the guys resurfaced and tested it right there in store. They even waived the $3 disc resurface fee when they totally didn't have to. The selection is really impressive - I was not expecting to find a brand new replacement PSP 3000 battery anywhere in the area but Retroid has them! You need a wired or wireless controller? Retroid has it! The best video game store in the Triad - hands down!
