Retina Consultants of Orlando - Dr Jose J. Echegaray

Dr Echegaray is outstanding. Explains everything in detail. Compassionate, patient and kind to his patients. The staff loves him too. Happy staff makes for a great practice. When you have a boss like Dr Echegaray you enjoy going to work. I would recommend Dr Echegaray to anyone who has eye issues!

From my first phone call the staff was wonderful. Very polite and helpful. I wasn’t given an appointment 3 months from now like other doctor offices, they got me in less than a week. Dr Echegaray was so kind, knowledgeable, thorough. He took the time to listen to my long complicated list of eye issues and explained each one. He never once rushed me. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Echegaray and his staff! Thank you so much! If it wasn't for Dr. Echegaray's fast reaction, I don't know what I would have done. My retina detached over Thanksgiving. I called on Monday early afternoon after seeing my primary, they had me in literally right away and Dr. Echegaray was able to reattach my retina that evening. It is so obvious when there is a good office team, things go so smoothly. The front desk is knowledgeable to know this was an emergency and took appropriate action. I honestly can say it was great to "see" you all finally at my follow-up appointment. Thank you all!

Since the second you walk to the office they make you feel at home. They have a great smile, making jokes, talk to you like if they know you for ever. That's a good place to go. The Drs are amazing, they listen, answer all your questions, not in a rush. I love it cause you are not a Patient only you are family.

from the moment I called the office to make an appointment I received nothing but kindness and respect. The people in the office when I went in for my visit were so kind and helpful. All the testing was done quickly, professionally, and with great care. Dr. Echegaray was very thorough and listened intently to my concerns and symptoms. I went to the Retina Consultants of Orlando for a second opinion. I was seen within reasonable time. The staff & the Doctor were courteous and professional. Dr. J. Echegaray explained clearly & confirmed the initial results I had. I will be following up & hope for the best. Thank you. :)

Was a very busy practice but everyone was professional and courteous and all of them apologized for the length of time it took. The doctor himself took the time with me to reassure my concerns and come up with a game plan for what further treatment looked like. The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is the seating. The chairs are really uncomfortable

Dr. Echegaray and his staff are friendly, well organized and prompt. The doctor is current with research and innovations. I cannot think of any negative comments about this medical practice.

My visit to this office was great from beginning to end. Staff were courteous and friendly the entire time. Doctor Echegaray was knowledgeable and personable. He diagnosed my problem and then he allowed me ample time for questions and answers. I feel fortunate to have found this practice and I do highly recommend.

This is my 6th procedure and the quality and care still the best I have seen, even my friend who was not sure and scared the first time the great staff and amazing doctor won her over in the first visit. It is so nice if you have to see a doctor to go with trusting heart and know that will leave with clear answers and best results, I can never thank them enough for all they do.
