I came to Dr. Carli with a shoulder issue that was seriously affecting my ability to play cricket at a semi-professional level. From day one, she took a thorough and structured approach — starting with a detailed movement assessment and then designing an 18-session plan tailored specifically to my needs. The rehab journey included everything from strengthening and mobility work to breath control, explosive movements, and needling — which she is absolutely the best at. Over time, my shoulder was able to handle more and more load, and I gradually returned to form. What stood out the most, though, was her holistic care. On days I felt sick or drained, she not only adjusted the session to match where I was physically and mentally, but always made sure I left feeling better. She truly understands the science of performance and recovery, and more importantly, how to apply it to each person individually. If you’re looking for a chiropractor who blends sports science with personalized care, Dr. Carli is the one.

After finding Carly on Instagram and attending the free session, I knew I had nothing to lose and committed to the sessions since the explained treatment plan was nothing like any other chiro. The first few sessions were tough since we were working my body in ways it wasn't used to moving. Upon some major life events and lots of stress in my body, Carly took the time to understand what I was going through at a personal level and treated my body as a whole unit working to release the built-up stress in order to successfully continue working the original issue. While the original pain I walked in with no longer lingers daily and is just about gone, if it does show up I am educated on how to correct it and confident in what Carly had taught me in trusting my body. Through lots of laughs and tears (emotional, not painful), Carly deserves more than 5 stars and love everything she stands for.

Dr. Carly is a gem. Highly recommend for CUSTOM and comprehensive plan to move better and reduce pain. I was referred to her by a coach at my CrossFit gym after reinjuring my hip. I had previously worked with PT a year prior with some pain relief but loved that Carly didn’t tell me to stop doing what exercise I loved. She helped me with form and taught me how to understand my body and the clues it was giving instead of just telling me what to do. I learned so much in my time with her and look forward to future maintenance visits as needed!

Carly has been exceptional at determining the causes of my pain and developing a plan to treat it. I am a senior citizen with severe neuropathy, and my goal is to improve my mobility and balance. Carly is kind, empathetic, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about the human body. She has helped me immeasurably both in her studio and with exercises for me to do on my own. I love working with her.

Carly is a true gem in the healthcare field. She is so much more than a chiropractor. Her holistic, rehabilitative approach makes her an asset to anyone looking to heal, get stronger, get educated about their body and improve overall body mechanics. In a very short time working together, I had the pleasure of experiencing her kindness and care - and absolute thorough exploration of how she could help me meet my goals. I took away tools that will help me on my path toward healing. Highly recommend working with Carly!

Having finished treatment for an injured back, Dr. Carly and I have focused on flexibility and balance, which are my two main concerns. She practices a holistic approach which includes nutritional and emotional well-being. She truly cares for her patients, works to find the best treatments and adjusts as needed. I highly recommend Dr. Carly at Restoring Adaptive Capacity.

I saw Dr. Carly for what I thought was a tight back/hip and sore knee. After she watched my movement patterns, it turned out my problem was bigger than that. The muscles in my feet and lower legs were weak and not being recruited properly. Finally, a problem that had come and gone and regularly come back again during my 10 years of CrossFit was properly diagnosed. I had regular appointments with Carly for a few months, during which time I had homework to complete to strengthen my calves and feet. After a few weeks of doing the work, my hip/back and knees stopped hurting. My squat improved immensely and I could even string together some double unders (a nice side effect of stronger feet and calves!) We even had a “graduation day” where Carly came to my gym to watch me workout and give positioning tips and stretches to help me with my snatch and overhead squat. I’m still working with Dr. Carly as I have some other goals to help me stay young as I age. But even thru all that my knee and back pain is gone and I’m getting better at recruiting my toes. I can’t recommend her enough. My treatment plan has been totally customized to my lifestyle, my preferred method of exercising, and, to some extent, my personality. So many other doctors will have you stop doing a movement that causes you pain. Never once have I been told by Dr. Carly to stop squatting, deadlifting, running, etc. These are normal movement patterns that all humans should be capable of doing. If you want to live better and move better, Dr. Carly is your answer to any pain or injury you are experiencing.

Describing treatment with Dr. Carly at “Restoring Adaptive Capacity” can’t be done with simple, singular words. While you may visit to heal from surgery or a fall, etc. Dr. Carly intuitively finds the underlying issues in the body and yes, the mind, that require treatment for the healing process, way beyond any Chiropractic visits in my past. She is compassionate in her caring, and passionate in her field(s) of knowledge and able to instill a will to work with her to help yourself heal and pursue or renew goals. The “take home” from visits to RACC is beyond feeling better to include knowledge, encouragement, and inspiration on your journey to being well. Definitely a must to visit!!
