In this course, participants will gain a foundational understanding of how fire and smoke impact structures and contents, and the proper steps to mitigate damage. The class covers inspection techniques, IICRC-certified cleaning protocols, odor removal methods (including ozone, hydroxyl, and thermal fogging), and the importance of using approved equipment and PPE. Attendees will also receive hands-on demonstrations with tools and cleaning methods used in real-world fire restoration scenarios.
