Around 16$, you can get a decent sized bowl of rice or noodles that is quite filling. It's hard to find restaurants that still serve meals at around this price. The food was also pretty tasty, the flavours were great and the quality was nice as well. The service on the other hand was a bit lacking. Although patient and smiling, the waiters and waitresses were not really friendly and we felt a bit unwelcomed from the start to the end of the meal.

Title: Halal Vietnamese food — go and try it! 🍜 Review: I’m not a huge fan of Vietnamese cuisine in general, but this place was actually really good. The meat was halal, so I could eat comfortably. Prices were fair, portions were fresh and full of veggies. Lots of variety too. It’s a nice spot in its own way — if you’re curious, give it a try. You won’t regret it.

Travelled from Laval to check out this Vietnamese place in Griffintown area of Montreal. There was a small lineup outside, but the wait was not long. The place is a small cozy restaurant, with friendly staff.. The menus given to us were small paper takeout type menus, wish the menu was a bit bigger, hard for old folks like me to read the small print. We ordered a Veggie Birds nest, A beef poke bowl, a beef Pho , some crispy spring rolls and a Vietnamese coffee. The food came out surprisingly quickly, faster than a McDonald's order , seriously I've waited longer at a McDonalds just to get an ice cream, and this restaurant brought out meals for the 3 of us in what seemed like 2 minutes. I don't know how they do it, but we were impressed by that. The quality of the food was quite good, but nothing that was overly different from other Vietnamese places. Portions were good, presentation was nice and it all tasted fine, but nothing that would really make me want to come back again, unless I'm in the area. I can see this restaurant doing well with the locals who live in Griffintown, but nothing so special that I would come back again from Laval. Give it a try , what do you think?

The beef pho (au bœuf saignant) was so heartwarming! I added boiled eggs, which made it extra filling, perfect to share between two.

Amazing halal pho joint, with great service and fresh food. The spice was just right and very flavourful. Must stop point of visiting Montreal! Recommend the pho, stir fry and the sushi.

The food was very good and fresh, and the quantities were huge! We got our food very quickly (5-10min). Plus, the staff was super sweet; our server took the time to help us choose what to order:)

Visited Ozen from Toronto after a recommendation - Impeccable food and service! Every single dish we ordered was super fresh and bursting of flavour. Highly recommend the Vietnamese inspired sushi. Also, the egg coffee was such a treat!

Visiting some family in town and had come across this restaurant. Did not disappoint! Service was great and server was friendly. Sushi was 10/10 and so was the food! Try R6 & R7 for sushi and their best seller is Les POKEs Ozen, le beouf
