Rent to Own Auto Centers

I have had mixed experiences with this company and location. Yet my most recent experience was not exactly enjoyable at all I have nothing but issues with the vehicle I leased from them back in March I have had engine and electrical issues and they refuse to give any help or explanation. They claim that exposed wires that have melted together and being told it’s normal wear and tear. Be careful with this company they have closed all other locations and it’s the only one left they charge three times what the vehicle is worth. Also they don’t offer any service on the vehicles they lease it’s all done at another repair shops and they don’t offer rentals so it’s all false advertising on the website. Since the day that I leased the vehicle I have had nothing but issues with this company as the check engine light has been illuminated and they never addressed the open recall on the ABS system. I don’t know how this vehicle passed safety and emissions inspection. Beware of this dealership completely. The other dealerships in this company are closed down due to a multitude of factors and reasons. The amount of codes being seen on this vehicle is ridiculous and all they always say is it’s normal ware and tear every single time I start the vehicle it screams and squeals

So I had quite the experience at rent to own centers in St. Charles with Debbie , Cody , and the Crew. First off I never cry are really leave reviews, but this has to be known . I received a car from them with great service and communication. All my questions was answered and I left with a smile and the car I believed I wanted until something bad happened 12 hours later. I thought about what should I do and I read reviews and realize a lot of people write reviews without even contacting the company first. So I decided I'll try that contacting them and let them know what happened. And I was shocked because I was told to bring the vehicle back and I can basically get whatever I wanted on the lot. I picked a mustang. I've always wanted one and I offered to pay the difference and Cody refused to take the money from me. Once again I was shocked to the point I start to cry and Debbie walked over there to me and said it's okay we feel really bad and happy you came back to let us fix it, now I want to cry and it was just a beautiful moment. Something I would never forget, therefore by experience I will always recommend this car lot to every single person. I would recommend this before I recommend a brand new car because they really do care about their customers. So if your shopping for a car I truly truly should just rent to own center in St. Charles, Missouri

The 1 star was only so that I’m able to post!!!! Actually deserve 0 STARS!!!!!!!! This place is a rip off. Henry is too nonchalant and not a good sales man . He don’t even TRY to negotiate or help in any way. No effort at all actually. I brought a male with me to check out the car. I asked to test drive it but was told they don’t allow that. Who buys a car without even driving it?? Then after advocating he agreed. I asked the male I brought with me to test drive it because only one person can go on the drive. Now I can’t get a car unless I put him on my insurance even though that not my husband or anything and the car going in my name. I will NEVER recommend this place to A SOUL. WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY. DONT GO THERE SAVE THE HEADACHE AND TIME.🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤬

My son's vehicle didn't last 24 hours without having to be towed back. He picked it up at 1PM Thursday and it was running hot by Friday morning. Upon calling to report leaking fluid and smoke, we were told there was nothing to be done until Monday. I had to advocate that it was in no condition to drive home let alone wait until Monday for repair! They suggested towing it to still wait until Monday! Thanks for the roller-coaster and lemon. He has to sit stranded at work and figure out transportation for the weekend while they sit in comfort. Beware!!

Outstanding service. I purchased a 2012 Acadia Denali from them for my wife. For our Anniversary. They were highly professional and very fast. I believe from the time I walked in to the time I drove off the lot was about 1 hour and 30 min. Great prices and great deals. Especially good for those with not so good credit. I highly recommend.

Great place to get a car from. Chris is wonderful to work with and the lady that does the paperwork. I cannot remember her name but she is also fabulous. They make the whole process seemingly easy.

Chris was awesome thru the process. From the initial text explaining the process to the paperwork. Everything was quick and easy. Took about n 1 hr and 20 minutes . Got a great car with a great deal and will recommend 10 out of 10

I went to get look at a car here and was told to be there by 4. I got there at 3:45 and asked to test drive the car and they told me I couldn’t test drive it! I’m not sure why they would have a policy like that because who wants to pay for a car they have never even driven. I convinced the guy to at least let me drive it around the parking lot which really isn’t sufficient but it was better than not driving it at all. I proceed to drive around the parking lot and then someone else stops me and rudely ask me what I was doing. I told him the guy inside said I could drive the car around the lot and he rudely told me I had to park the car because they don’t do that here. I should have left them but I still proceeded to go in a try to purchase the car. By this time is around 4:03 and I try to proceed with the purchase but I was then told I had to come back tomorrow because the system shuts down at 4. Now why wouldn’t they have told me that ahead of time is just beyond me. If the system shuts down at 4 they need to tell people to be there by 3 not 4. It was an all around bad experience by I’m thankful for the blessings in disguise because I went somewhere else and was able to purchase a much better car with no issues. Also the majority of the cars are dirty on the inside and don’t even look like they took the time to clean the interior at all, seats stained all up and just definitely not worth the money they want for them. The one I wanted was the cleanest one I found and it still had a hubcap missing. They really need to work on there cleanliness and customer service skills.

Save your money to get in you a decent car this place will put you in a lemon fix it just enough for you to make payments but the minute it break down they don’t care bout nothing and the MANAGER in the st.Charles location is absolutely rude and I wouldn’t send nobody to do business with him or their company he hung up in my face instead of trying to hear me out so I’ve contacted my attorney because that’s not how you do business long story short go somewhere else and spend your money this place make it sound good but they not really that especially if your in a tight place in your life don’t settle going here just waste of money YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY BUT HANGING UP ON A CUSTOMER IS RUDE AND ONCE AGAIN I DONT REFER ANYONE TO GO HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ALREADY IN A TIGHT SITUATION GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER SO YOU WONT HAVE TO GO TO A RINKY DINK PLACE LIKE THIS

Such nice people here who genuinely care about customers and trying to get them into a vehicle and keeping them in it. Wish I would've found them sooner.
