A neighbor in my neighborhood was having his driveway paved. Joe ( the younger Son) stopped by my house we ended up talking and the next day My driveway was paved. First, overall impression we are very pleased. This was impromptu but Joe and his crew were professional, and true through the whole process. We even ended up expanding our driveway which is something we have discussed for years. I even asked ChatGPT for their stamp of approval and they agreed. I will update review if driveway does not hold true to its work. If there’s still five stars we’re still impressed and pleased.

I never leave negative reviews, but my family moved from CA to TN and needed to have a large driveway paved. We received a quote of $18500, again large, while we were deciding we received a call and were offered Commercial Grade Asphalt for an additional $2000, we decided to use Reliable. When the asphalt was initially installed beautiful, however over a few days we noticed damage to the asphalt in several spots, looking tears in asphalt, we called, texted and email pictures and our concerns regarding the damage. We received one call back and they said thats from your power steering on our car. We requested a visit to explain and see if we can solve, no response, no return phone calls. We had to hire another company to slurry coat the asphalt, at which time they advised us that Commerical Asphalt does not do that, this was not Commercial Asphalt of which we paid, we are having the new company slurry coat the asphalt 3 times to properly seal it in an effort to repair the damage. As new the area we felt we were being taken advantage of, the biggest disappointment was that we received no calls, texts or visits to see how to repair this damage. Be careful, especially if you are new to the area. REPOST: Response, we asked for the courtesy of a visit to explain of what occurred and we were " Ghosted ", we sent pictures and ask for visit and again no answers to our requests. Definitely did not use commercial grade asphalt, as reported by asphalt companies we contacted to pay for repairs. As well, we only did the slurry coating months after in an effort to repair the marks, as well we were not advised of the possibility of the marks left by power steering if that is what occured, but the biggest issue was the disrespect shown by this company when we asked for a visit and no one showed up. We are reasonable people and do not ask for the impossible, but a visit and explanation would have helped, just knowing you do not offer any customer service after you have taken payment is not acceptable. So you are responsible and the, again, slurry coating was done months after and has affected the asphalt at all, but did not fix the issues. Poor excuse for bad after customer service.

Very professional job on my dad’s driveway and happy with the result. It looks beautiful and they were very good to clean up afterwards. Only reason I did not give more stars is because originally I was told they would come back in 3-6 months to discuss sealing it. Instead they called my father the same afternoon and offered to come seal the driveway the very next day. After doing some research and asking around to other professionals, I learned that you do not seal asphalt before it completely settles (minimum 3 months to a year) or it can cause crumbling. When I asked about it, I was told that was not true and when I told them that I’d rather wait because my dad is on a fixed income I was informed how inconvenient it was to them that they had already purchased the sealant even though it was a verbal agreement from my father, who has mild dementia, and not a written signed contract. I am very pleased with the job they did but quite off put by the pressuring and the contradiction to the research I did.

Too late, after paying way too much for sub-standard work, I learned that Reliable Paving has a terrible local reputation in the Tri-Cities for overcharging customers and other shady practices. Ask around yourself. Or, better yet, avoid this place and go somewhere honest. You have been warned.

Reliable Paving did a great job cleaning up and replacing my driveway. All employees were courteous and showed great attention to detail. I’m very happy with the work and would easily recommend them.

After having a sales person come out and give a high end quote I declined the offer and told the person I would be still looking around. Within 5 minutes they knocked on my door saying the would do it for $10k vs $13k, I said I would still need to decline that offer and 5 minutes later he then said the owner would match my last offer from a company. I declined and said if I was to go with the last offer as they quoted me with the price they seemed fair for the drive way. The owner called me to complain about having them come out and give a quote on top of that threaten to sue me if I was to leave this review which I had no answer intentions to mail the owner threatened to whoop my butt if I was to post a review. He also said that everyone who n the area is his kin and family and would put out that I was a waste of time getting them to come out and give an estimate. Your company doesn’t deserve even a 1 star.

They came out to private my job gave me a price that was high i got another quote and was contacted by the person who gave the quote and asked if they could do it for that price to which I replied yes. After waiting for almost a month for them to show up and after di told the other company I had someone else doing the job they tell me they can't do it for that price and wasn't up. After waiting for a month and already turning down other quotes we had it done. As a buisness owner myself I would never go up on my price due to my own error due to "miscalculation of material" so DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Joe was very responsive, gave us an estimate quickly & followed up with us. He was in our area, and was able to start grading our driveway quickly. Our driveway is long and curvy, but they did not tear up the yard doing the work. They did a great job & were attentive to detail. We are very happy with the job they did. Thank you!

Very Happy with the job Joe and his team did on my new driveway. Joe was straight forward with his pricing quote, we shook hands & made a deal and they were off to the races working on my driveway. The job was done same day and looks amazing!
